I had a good first impression of this place. It's like those old quaint seaside hotels we have back at home in Cape Cod. The day we came in was pretty hot so the hallways smelled a bit musty because the AC is all in the rooms. You get a TV with basic cable and a stocked bathroom.
There is laundry on site but there was only one working washer/dryer unit and luckily I didn't have to wait for someone else to finish theirs, it'll take you 75 minutes in total for a load and you'll need to have the quarters on you because the front desk doesn't have much. Next to the desk is the commissary which doesn't have much save for the powdered detergents and some random snacks, drinks and Ramen. Not very much to choose from but I used some of my $11 credit on a 7UP. Breakfast is free each morning so take advantage of that. I liked making waffles and having them with green tea and melon slices.
What irritated me the most were two things. Before the last day of our stay I requested housekeeping as I was rooming with two others and messes/dirty linen tends to pile up. They never came. Also, the light in the shower was blinking annoyingly.
The second part was before I left, I had to ask if the shuttle for the airport could accommodate a disabled person in a wheelchair. We were told we'd have to request that a day in advance just as I was checking out.
While some staff could answer my questions, others just didn't seem to care that much. I don't think I'd stay here again.
