”A piece of heaven. This stop was the highlight of our Sicily trip. Nicely decorated with stunning views, and kind owners who were very incredibly helpful and very accommodating. If you are looking for a place far from typical tourist attractions, in the middle of a quiet Sicilian village- this is the place. ”Very nice spacious room, air conditioning, nice pool. The property is in the mountains and you cannot reach it by walking or public transport. Also it’s very hard to get taxis in Agrigento at night so you absolutely need a car if you stay there. Breakfast was nice too. But you can’t reach any restaurants on foot either, so if you arrive at night make sure you eat before or be prepared to go out again. Even delivery was hard, and two places refused to deliver pizza there when we called. ”

”We had an amazing experience at Casale Margherita. Very easy to get in touch with via WhatsApp, scheduled taxi rides for us to surrounding areas for a fee. The gentlemen that drove us to a surrounding city and again to the bus station the next day was so wonderful, brought us for a traditional Sicilian coffee and cannoli nearby. The pool was incredible. Would highly recommend. ”

”This was a short, one night stay on a cross-Italy journey. Wonderful hotel and hosts and breakfast is delicious. Spotless and eco-friendly and set in nature, and near city center and Mount Cammarata. The host’s father is so kind - we so appreciated his conversation over breakfast. ”

”We loved this place. It is not a place you would stumble upon, but when you find it, it's worth the trubble to get there! We loved the ambient atmosphere and the warm and relaxed approach to guests. The food was delicious and the pool was nice. You can see for miles around the beatiful surroundings. I would recommend this place for a stop of 2-4 nights, with maybe a short tour to the close by countryside, but maybe not for a base for trips around sicily, because the autostrada is 20-30 minutes...
