Pros: 1/ staff was absolutely AMAZING! Every single one of them, from Alex, the manager, Veronica, the other lady, to the young gentlemen on the evening shift! They were fast to respond to resolving any issues whether inside the room or outside. I learned about them and from them, we had fun conversations about cultures and how much we have in common, and they loved my dogs just as my dogs loved them! It had become a daily ritual for my female dogs to say hi to them and get pets.
2/ good coffee, snacks to go (muffins, boiled eggs, yogurts, oatmeal, hot cacao packs, and different teas) every morning. The early morning staff had coffee and breakfast ready at 6am sharp!
3/ the deluxe studio with the couch and full kitchen and a large flatscreen TV with a good selection of program was nice. Plenty of room for my dogs to play while I cooked our meals.
4/ cooking ware was provided as complementary by the front desk, so I didn’t need to buy anything.
5/ VTA is 2-3 wall, and that was convenient for me as I had to go to work at 6:30am. It’s the green and blue lines.
6/ Close to Japantown via VTA (13 minutes) or walking (48 minutes).
7/ clean rooms and amazing housekeeping staff! THANK YOU!!!
Cons:
- many guests smoked marijuana inside the rooms and outside. When front desk was available, they did handle it.
- the water was not clear at all.
Overall, it was a great experience! Thank you, Extended Stay team!
