Majatalot – San Juan

”It was a good stay.”

”Parisänky oli 120cm leveä. Kadulta kuuluu kova meteli (ei tosin haitannut meitä ja oli tiedossa). Varsinaista respaa ei ole, laukut voi jättää alakerran jalokiviliikkeeseen säilytykseen, jos se sattuu olemaan auki. Siivoojaa ei näkynyt liiemmin 4 päivän aikana (pyynnöstä olisi saattanut tulla tosin). Ilmastointia ei pystynyt säätämään. Vessapaperia sai vain rullan kerrallaan (eikä ollut muuta paperia), piti useamman kerran käydä pyytämässä lisää. Check-out jo kymmeneltä ja mukamas ei mitenkään...

”We had a flight cancelation and with many others were forced to stay a few extra days in San Juan. Many hotels were sold out and some were $450+ per night. We felt so fortunate to find a room at Ayana. Simple but updated furnishings. Clean. Excellent air conditioning. King size bed. Fridge well.stocked with various beverages for purchase. Property is located in a neighborhood that is popular, busy and walkable. So many great restaurants in the area! 3 blks easy walk to beach. The hotel...

”Room was clean. Convenient to beach...about a ten min walk.. 24 hr grocery store right across the street. Casinos were about a 15 min walk (if you’re into that). Only issue I had was that there was no hot water for the three days that I was there, so cold showers it was.”

”Wonderful staff and waiting area. Room was darling and air fantastic. The only issue was music played at a local bar could be heard through the walls late…. But it was Saturday night. I would definitely book here again! ”

”Everything is within walking distance. The room was amazing. Best sleep I’ve had in a while. The air conditioning worked amazingly and I felt safe the whole time I was there.”

”Staff were very responsive and gave suggestions where to eat in the area. Unfortunately it was far from the port where we were taking a cruise. The area was dubious when we arrived as the building next door was in need of repair. The shower was very weak which was a shame. Nice to have a fridge of water. ”

”I never leave property reviews, but our stay at Casa of Essence was a wonderful experience. The location is fantastic -- old San Juan is right outside the door and there are beaches only a ten minute walk away. The staff were incredibly helpful and polite, and overall I could not recommend this property enough. It made our trip to San Juan memorable, relaxing, and fun. ”
