”This river view Holiday Inn location offered more than I had expected and was the perfect end to my wedding weekend :)
The front desk staff are so kind and pleasant. Next the views on the wrap around patio are so beautiful and peaceful views of the animas river and mountains. We enjoyed sitting out with our doggy and wine listening to the river. The trail is steps away too.
Plenty of yummy restaurants one block up onMain street.
They offer free breakfast with costa rican coffee, gluten...

”We had a lovely stay here. We stayed at both historic hotels in Durango and this was our favorite front. Staff was excellent very kind. Very chatty treat on a great conversation. They have the oldest operating elevator in the state of Colorado. It’s small, but it’s worth the experience of the ride. Don’t forget to go out on TV. Second floor balcony deck. It’s over the west part of Durango and the trains coming and going.”

”The room was very clean & fresh, the carpet was new. Loved the river view with aspen trees right outside our balcony! Staff was friendly - we were offered an upgrade to a river view room at a great price when we checked it. We had an excellent stay and highly recommend it to others.”

Hotel location is not ideal as there are not restaurants within a walking distance.
