”Friendly, helpful staff, close to everything downtown”

”Water power was very week. Water termperature changed many times during shower. Very noisy place to sleep. Personel were very polite.”

”The price was good. The room was clean and A/C worked well. We chose to stay both before and after our cruise and both rooms were very comfortable. On return, we had requested a 1st floor room for ease and it was greatly appreciated when this was provided. We would recommend staying here especially if going on a cruise since it's so close to the port and theire is tons of shopping/dinig options available. ”

”Great, new hotel. Nicely done. The only surprise was that our room, which was really big and good as such, didn’t have a window! It was like an interior room in the middle of the hotel building and hence couldn’t have a window, but still it would have been good to see that info in the room description when booking the room. :-) In addition, we got a connected room - I usually write a special request ’no connecting room’ but this time I forgot it - and the doors between the rooms let sound...

”We were informed at breakfast that our Expedia booking didn't include breakfast, which everyone else got for free.”

”AVOID!!! On arrival after flying all day we arrived at 4:00 pm which is room check in time. We noticed the check in line was moving very slowly and there were a lot of people standing with their luggage in the lobby. Once we got to the front of the line we were also notified like the other customers that our room was not ready. They suggested we set in the lobby and wait for a little while and they would call us when the room was good. We sat for an hour and a half before we approached the check...

”Very comfortable stay. Great staff. Thin walls and some times of high noise but not a huge deal for us. Location was great for using the old San Juan pier. ”

”Staff was friendly and helpful. Great location in old San Juan, right in the center of restaurants, shopping, nightlife, El Morro castle. They have a problem with musty air and mold. Even the bedding smelled musty. Our room was dark and windowless. We left after one night. Other guests we spoke to had a great experience in one of the suites.”

”This was the worst hotel we have ever encountered through Expedia. Unsafe stairs both to get to the room and within the room. We never saw a staff person anywhere. I'd call it a dump.”

”The rooms weren’t super clean - the sheets had some hairs on it and I couldn’t tell if they were reused or just not properly cleaned. There was also hair on the ground. And our closet door was broken. The pictures are a little misleading - the kitchen and couches are shared areas. The rooms are very small with just beds but the bathroom was so nice The overall stay was good for what we needed which was a bed with a quiet space (except for the frogs - they are loud all night). the rooms lead...
