”Our flight was diverted due to weather, causing a 5 hour delay so we were not actually able to stay overnight but staff kindly let us hang out in the morning and enjoy our breakfast. The breakfast was super tasty and filling. Two scarlet macaws ate bananas at the feeders while we had our breakfast. Such a cool experience!”

”The property and surroundings were beautiful. The room was very nice and fit our family of four perfectly. We loved hearing the nature noise maker surrounding us and the nature hike was really fun too. I would recommend a 4x4 to get to the property, it is a good ways up a bumpy road.”

”We loved our stay in this rustic but comfortable lodge located in the Costa Rican wilderness. The staff are lively and the food excellent. Outstanding bird watching as well.”

”The property grounds are very well landscaped. The rooms were clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool area needs to be better maintained as the decking needs to be replaced before it collapses when someone walks on it. The rooms need updating. Once the new owners take possession, maybe hey will make the necessary improvements. We would love to return once upgrades have been completed. ”

”Mario was a great bird guide, but the tour was only on the property. It would be nice to have night tours and birding trips off the property. The internet service could have been better. The food was good, and the staff was helpful.”
