”This apartment is located in a residential area, however if you have a car, there is no problem going to Bergamo sightseeing or shopping malls. It is also within a 30 minute drive from the airport. The owner was very kind and flexible with check-in times. The room is clean and has everything. Highly recommended if you are staying with your family.”

”The property was very nice and the check in process was easy. It would be good to have a car because Uber and car share services do not work in Varenna. The taxi service is a little sporadic and expensive. The train station is a long walk as is town. The view was great with plenty of space. I would rent here again but only if i had a car”

”Loved it and can’t wait to return! The view is gorgeous—amazing sunsets and, in the morning, Varenna is lit up by the sun. The patio is also right next to an old waterfall/fountain ruin type of thing that is lit up at night and it’s stunning. The inside of the apartment is also fantastic and we loved the very large bathtub and the rain shower heads. A few things to know—it IS the penthouse so there are quite a bit of outside stairs to get to the apartment. It wasn’t really a problem for us but...

”Antonio was a totally lovely host. He took us for a ride yo show us where to find stores and restaurants and then gave us lots of information about hiking, which was our interest. We enjoyed a warm night’s dinner on the patio. The home was very clean and great for 2 individuals or 2 couples.”
