”Excelente lugar! Es un lugar familiar con un trato muy cercano y amable. La cabina muy bonita y cómoda, con una pequeña cocina. ”The location was perfect for seeing Rio Celeste and other rainforest tours. Everyone was really friendly and the food was great. Communication was somewhat interesting because I hadn’t brushed up on my Spanish enough but we made it work! The bed wasn’t super comfortable, shower didn’t get very hot and the walls weren’t exactly soundproof but for the price it was still a good value. I’d definitely stay here again!”

”This is a very unique house in a very quiet and peaceful location. We only visited for 1 night so we did not get to enjoy it as much as we could have. Small miscommunication with our booking but as we went on an evening tour, things were straightened out and all was well by the time we returned. ”Tidy and roomy, but bed was too firm for me and no hot water. It was very difficult for the taxi driver to find the location due to no address, or sign. We finally had to call them for directions. Maria and hubby were very accommodating, but said they couldn't do anything about the lack of hot water until the next day due to needing a part. They acted as taxi drivers to get us to the park and also to La Fortuna, stopping at stores as needed along the way. Super nice! They don't speak English,...

”This place is absolutely beautiful and so unique. Exactly what you you would want to experience in a Costa Rica jungle. As we arrived early evening, we saw a faimly of holler monkeys, even the mama and baby! We walked the amazing well kept grounds and were in awe with the 500 yr. old tree. ”This is a second tome we stayed at the hotel. First time was four years ago and it was quiet boutique hotel, now it's in process of expansion. We love the place and would come back. I included the negative responce about it to inform, not to deter. The highlights: You can walk to the river, it's a short hike, and swim in there, very beautiful spot to take photos. ”The Lodge was spectacular and the staff friendly, professional, and helpful. Within hours of arrival, they knew our names. The room was large, private, clean and very comfortable with a large deck overlooking the rainforest, a huge bathroom and our own private hot tub. We did many activities through the lodge (hiking, yoga, night walk, bird watching tour) and the guides were excellent. The food was delicious and very fresh. Each dish was beautifully plated and generous. 5 stars!”

”Beautiful, serene property. Very nice host and hostess. Loved the waterfall hike. It was the highlight of our trip. We were there by ourselves and could swim. If you’re into exploring and not a resort travel style this place is fabulous. We came here from JW in Guanacaste and loved this more than the resort. Clean and comfy. Breakfast was delicious and tastefully served. Be mindful of the hike though. Not super easy. Hiking shoes , poles and certainly water shoes, towel, and water are a must. ”
