”Fabulous experience. if you want the wild/lodge experience but still a staffed hotel with a bunch of services then this is for you! We were in the middle of the wilderness, with birds and sloths on site, but still had room service/clean up and buffet style breakfast and a pool! Absolutely recommend. good distance to all the sites/activity but far enough from the tourist trap that is la fortuna!”

”The location is beautiful as advertised. Beautiful views and a nice club house with a pool. Great place to kick back and enjoy. Taniya is great to work with. Just make sure she has your cell so you can text back and forth. Only thing is to make sure the fans are in the living room. It can get a bit toasty. But the ac units in the bedrooms were amazing. Thank you!!”

”The property was in a nice family neighborhood, with friendly helpful neighbors, and a gorgeous view that was accurate as shown in the photos. We loved El Castillo overall. The host advertised this via Expedia as "Entire place - You'll have the entire home to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party" and that is what I expected we were reserving and paying for. We got there and found it was 2 separate studio rentals on levels 1 and 2 of the house. The landlady was nice...

The hosts were amazing and attentive—so generous with how they stocked the home, including eggs, bread, snacks, and more as well as advice and quickly answering questions. ”Off the beaten path, which is OK, but there is no signage that you are entering the right road. The TV was missing from the bedroom. Couldn’t get our apps to work on the tv in the living room. Shower had some rotting trim. Ethernet cable were just run dangling along the walls. It was clean, and conveniently located between Quepos and Manuel Antonio.”

”Clean and safe location. Located near all of the tourist activities but quite far from town and would require a vehicle. Host was wonderful to communicate with, hot water stopped working and it was fixed within minutes by staff. Overall excellent stay I would book again.”
