Pacifica Hotels – San Simeon, Kalifornia

”We had a great time, as always... this is our 3rd time staying and we always leave with a smile. We ended our Nor Cal trip here for a couple of days and it was the perfect close to our vacation. Chill and fun all in one. Beds were cozy, enjoyed the fireplace - actually used it quite a bit during our stay, and with the ocean view, it set the tone nicely. ”This hotel is well located. The rooms are well presented and it is a nice touch to have different pillows available. Staff are generally helpful - we had a maintenance request on our first morning and it was dealt with pretty promptly. Whilst it is nice to have a very simple breakfast it seems cost cutting in the extreme not to offer plates - seeing seasoned guests carrying their personal plates to breakfast was most definitely an unexpected first. If like me, you left your plate at home...

”I booked a last-minute stay through Expedia and accidentally selected dates that were one day too early. I immediately tried to get help, but the hotel provided no meaningful support at all. I called the hotel three times. No one answered. Their phone system asked me to leave my number and said they would call back within 24 hours, but nobody ever called. I also emailed and received no helpful response. Expedia also tried to contact the hotel regarding the situation, but the hotel still did not...
