A++++ for the staff, they were super helpful and friendly. Situated very close to the magnificent beach, but far from supermarkets, and public transport. Parkingplaces are full, but as promised, we got a place.

”A very warm welcome and a lovely room. Bed was comfy and the hotel was quiet for a good night's sleep. A short walk to the beach and pier, and also not too far to the town centre. My only negative was the bathroom is tiny. I would definitely consider staying here again.”

”We loved the quaint nature of this lodge, nestled in the golf course. You do have to be prepared to drive up a small hill and parking can be quite tight but it’s well worth it for such a spotless and modern room which provided a really comfortable stay. ”Great hotel. Have been coming for years for an annual birthday night out with a group of friends. Guy at reception was very friendly, especially as we were concerned we may not be able to park there as no space, but did manage to in the end. Hotel is great...not the most modern, no, but homely and rooms have always been spacious, clean and welcoming. The bar/club is great for a night out. Would definitely recommend. Very close to town centre and beach too. Well done Royal Exeter!”

Such a warm welcome from David and Pumpkin. The accommodation is superb and immaculately clean. Opted for the jacuzzi room which was an excellent way to relax after a busy day. David thinks of everything and the little touches for dogs and humans alike we’re greatly appreciated. Communication throughout was friendly and informative.
