”A fantastic last minute weekend getaway! So many activities for everyone. The grounds are stunning, the staff super friendly and the hot tup at the property was a major plus! Only criticism was the breakfast was a little chaotic (perhaps we arrived at the wrong time) but we were made to wait a while for a table and the selection of cereals / Savory / milk was very sparse ! The dinner was good, but my wife did receive marmite butter when we clearly stated she was coeliac! We will be back with...

”Overall we enjoyed our stay but there was a few things that took the edge off a perfect break. The shower in the en-suite bedroom leaked through the kitchen ceiling so we couldn’t use it which meant that nine of us had to use the one other shower! The French door/window in the lounge was difficult to open & close and the rain came in at the bottom right side and the carpet got wet and we couldn’t open the bi fold doors in the dining area. The cutlery wasn’t very clean so we had to wash it all...

”We stayed at Wisteria Cottage for 6 days in April 2024 and can only recommend this cottage: it was very clean and all the necessary things for daily use are available. The location in Topsham is great as you can walk to many restaurants and pubs. The cottage is right on the High Street but we didn't find the traffic disturbing. In short, we would come back at any time.”

”Lovely spacious lodge which is decorated and furnished to a high standard. Pleasant to sit on patio and enjoy the views. The holiday park is large and if you or any one in your group has mobility issues a car is a must - there is a steep slope/hill leading to treetops. The lodge is located in a quiet area of the park. Owners Adria and Steve next door and available if needed. Lovely location to explore Devon :)”

”Located on the edge of a tiny rural Devon village, this property was the perfect getaway for us and our dog. The village pub is great (although you have to be up for the walk up the steep road to get there), and the property hosts were there if you needed them, totally non-invasive if you didn’t. ”Our stay was flawless, conveniently located in the heart of the countryside. The facilities were great and the listing doesn’t do it justice, all of us who stayed had nothing but positive things to say about the accommodation which was thoughtfully decorated throughout. It was a shame the weather wasn’t on our side the whole time so we could make use of the great outdoor space however we were so lucky with the inside space that it didn’t affect the weekend. ”The host was so tentative and welcoming, and then left us to enjoy the lovely property. There were 13 of us and we all had a lovely time. ”Our visit to this VRBO was like stepping back in time. It was located in the English countryside on a beautifully maintained farm dating back to the 1500's. Everywhere you looked, gave you a sense of peace. The landscape, grand arboretum, the flowers, the occasional sounds of sheep off in the distance was glorious. Our accommodations were in a converted onetime stable, the interior beautifully crafted, with all the amenities one would need. The proprietors were gracious, kind and accommodating....

”Lovely holiday home in a tranquil setting, away from the crowds. We always felt happy to return here after a day out. The animals added extra interest and Claire was very responsive to our requests. Our favourite trip was Buddleigh Salterton, for swimming and shopping, only 25 mins away. The tramilne from Colyton to Seaton was also excellent, with a wonderful wetlands stop en route.”

”Three generations stayed here and all loved it. My 5 year old grandson was amazed at the “upside down” house. It was very clean and had everything we needed. Location was good for getting around. Very peaceful. The basket of goodies we received on arrival was lovely. Would definitely stay here again.”

”Myself and my partner stayed for 2 nights, on the first night with were arriving at 8.10pm just after the kitchen normally closes. We rang up and nothing was too much trouble, we preordered over the phone and they held off on preparing our meal until we arrived. Food was amazing and we had a lovely few drinks in the pub which has such a warm atmosphere. Our room was lovely, we particularly enjoyed the log burner, and was a great size. A great stay, we would definitely come again! ”
