”Had a lovely clean room overlooking the river unfortunately had an issue with the heating. This was dealt with by Laura.who relocated us to another room within minutes. Overall the staff were absolutely brilliant nothing was too much trouble and the carvery on Sunday evening and breakfast on Monday morning were 1st class and good value if it wasn't so far from home we would be regular visitors ”

”Staff are very helpful and friendly, lots to do for children. Next to the beach and a cliff walk down to Amusements, rides arcade and Restaurant. Parking is in front of Hotel. Room has everything you need. Tea coffee biscuits etc Netflix and sky sports. We enjoyed our week very much”

”Another Fabulous stay at The Cromwell Arms. It truly is a Pleasure to always give this place a visit when we’re in Devon. We booked a double room, excellent bed and such a great sleep. Room has free WiFi, Tea/Coffee/Milk, Kettle ect… The only criticism I’d make is the tv in the corner wasn’t in the best place to watch as after a while our neck began to ache with facing to the right for so long, also tv could do with being a little larger. The property has a Car Park, also with disabled spaces...

”The main thing to be said about our stay at the poltimore is that the staff really couldnt do enough for you. So attentive and lovely. The room was clean, spacious and had a stunning view of the countryside. The water sometimes ran brown, but this is probably the only negative comment to be said. Food has always been very nice here. We happily stay here again. ”

”Absolutely fabulous few days away. This is a real gem of a hotel. Quiet and secluded but a real joy to experience. The staff are so helpful and genuine (Rosie, Sharon and Oliver deserve medals) There was plenty of choice for breakfast, the cooked breakfast was tasty and well presented. The evening dinner menu and quality of food was 10/10. I think it could be even better with a slightly extended menu. We will be back x”

”It has only been 2 months since my last stay here and it was as good as ever. Staff as always were really friendly and make you feel at home. I had a thoroughly enjoyable evening meal as well as a great breakfast. A decent night's sleep set me up for the day and I look forward to coming back here.”
