”Charming hotel and great location. Bar and restaurant onsite were very nice and handy. Breakfast was amazing! Hospitality of the staff, also amazing. Don't let limited parking scare you, they have a nice arrangement for inexpensive overnight parking just across the street. Older facility, so don't expect air conditioning, and of course we stayed there during a historical heat wave in the UK for May. On normal nights, I think temps would be fine. Would recommend and stay at again.”

”We booked 3 nights at the Pegwell and I would say it’s the best hotel in Ramsgate. From getting a nice early check in, to the delicious breakfast every thing was spot on. The walk into Ramsgate is around 40 minutes and is lovely, we found the location perfect, and very quiet. Highly recommend the hotel and Ramsgate for a weekend break.”

”The location is ideal for the seafront and restaurants. The bathroom was very spacious however the room itself was extremely tight. Unfortunately the service was so bad, I will not be returning. When checking in, we had to speak to 3 different members of staff before finding out which room we were in, and not one of those staff members even said hello or greeted us in any way. They ran past us trying not to acknowledge our present, We were just left standing there with absolutely no information...

”We were very lucky to get a parking spot as it was just on the road at the front of the building. Breakfast was excellent. Unfortunately the en-suite consisted of toilet and shower only - the wash hand basin was in the bedroom where there were no towel rails. The gentleman who greeted us was excellent as he had to do everything including cooking the breakfasts due to his manager being unwell.”

”Hotel was clean and nicely located to visit the Open golfcourses just 20 min drive south. Price and quality was superb. Rooms were clean and spacious enough. Breakfast was good and cheap. Highly recommend!”

”Easy to find, clear instructions regarding keys, etc.. Not a huge amount of things nearby, apart from the nice beach. Perhaps a bit expensive for what it is, but in the summer the easier access to the beach must be a plus.”

”Everything was perfect! The situation, the room, the owners, breakfast. The only very little thing at this time of year was that I would prefer a thinner blanket. But there was a fan anyway so I would give this place a full ten!”

”Room was freezing cold, no heating on, kettle didn't work. They did offer to change our room but other room was also unheated. As check in is 2pm.We checked in at 4.40pm 14th Feb, room was icy cold. Hot water was temperamental. Room should have bern warm & water hot, Hubby had cold shower i gave that a miss.should be heated by then”

”Excellent, staff were so caring and clearly loved their job. Warm and welcoming. And their curry night on Friday might be the best I’ve had to date!”

”The family room was lovely and well equipped for 2 adults and 2 children. A couple of niggles in that the blind was broken in the bathroom and the rubbish bins were a bit on the small side. Staff were really lovely and nothing was any trouble. Breakfast was delicious and we had 1 meal there which was great. Lovely setting next to the river. Would highly recommend”

”Brilliant stay in a fantastic cottage. Very kind and communicative owners, who were very generous in their welcome gesture towards me. The cottage is immaculately clean and has everything you could wish for for a short and longer stay. The cottage is very spacious and also peaceful and quiet so you can enjoy a truly relaxing time away. Great location to explore the coastline or Kent in land. I would love to come back in future to have the same experience again. Thanks for everything. ”
