Welcome to Sandpebble 2F, a two-bedroom, two-bath condo located right in the middle of Sanibel, right on the Sanibel River and only a walk across the street to the beach! 



CONDO FEATURES

Being across from Sanibel Island Golf Club and right on the river, Sandpebble allows you to witness some of Sanibel's best wildlife moments, all while being a short walk to the Gulf of Mexico. It doesn't get much better than that! Featuring a queen in the master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, two twins in the guest bedroom and a sleeper sofa in the living room, this condo can sleep up to six guests comfortably with plenty of space. If you're not enjoying a day at the beach, take a dip in the heated pool, play a game of tennis, or enjoy a picnic at the BBQ Grills. Sandpebble is a small and quiet community that offers plenty to make lasting memories for you and your entire family. This condo offers even more with its nice updates and tropical decor that gives you the comfort of home, all while being right at the beach!

Sandpebble is a fairly small development with only 23 units in the community. Situated in the mid-island area of Sanibel, it is only. 0.6 miles from Sanibel Island Golf Club, along with other restaurants! You're also in the perfect biking distance to all Sanibel has to offer! Sanibel offers 15 miles of pristine beaches (America’s best shelling beaches), 25 miles of bike paths, 250 kinds of shells and 0 stop lights. Top Sanibel Island attractions include: J.N. "DING" DARLING NATIONAL WILDLIFE REFUGE, CROW-CLINIC FOR THE REHABILITATION OF WILDLIFE, the BAILEY-MATTHEWS NATIONAL SHELL MUSEUM, and SANIBEL LIGHTHOUSE & FISHING PIER.

Just ok

We either misunderstood the listing or were just deceived. We thought it was beach front and we were not. Blinds inside the condo were broken and let in too much light. It was nice to have access to the Tween Waters resort but I did not know that before check-in. The drive was 30 minutes daily. It would be nice to have access to the pool across the road and not 30 minutes away.

Great condo for beach stay!

Great location, nice and spacious inside, great layout, easy short walk across Middle Gulf Dr. to beautiful beach, This is an end unit which offers a little privacy and a bedroom window. 2nd floor was easy to access by stairs (there is an elevator). Perfect for 2 couples, 4 people, but the living room pull out couch can accommodate more. The deck overlooking the river/golf course downstairs out back is a nice spot and the pool is very nice, clean, water is perfect. Kitchen well equipped, grills are nice, tennis courts a fun bonus! Outside the entry door, the deck on the back/ river/sunset side is another nice overlook. Nice small building so not a ton of people. Great area for walking/biking, short drive to anything you would need.

No Complaints. It is a little dated. You get what you pay for. Great alternative to staying at the Sundial for a lot less coin. Our kids liked the pool at this condo better than the one across the street. The beach chairs provided were at the end of their useful life.

Nice stay at this comdo

Condo was in a nice small and quiet complex. The condo is nice and the rooms are of good size. The furnishings are a bit dated but other than that, everything was nice. Pool was great.

Excellent Location

The location could not have been better since we frequently played Pickleball five houses away, biked to restaurants, parks and the beach. The condo was spacious. We were hoping to reserve it for next year, but it will not be available.

Sanibel Condo great location

Loved our stay at this comfortable condo. The location was perfect, about 1 block from the shell-filled beach with a beautiful canal on the other side to watch birds flying and the biggest alligator I've ever seen sunning on the bank. The condo was very clean, the beds were comfy and the unit had a lovely screened in lanai overlooking a beautifully landscaped area. The dining room faced the canal with a perfect view of gorgeous sunsets. Beach chairs and umbrellas were available for use and coin operated laundry facilities were easy to access on the first floor. We had some issues with the tv and internet not working consistently, but we were on vacation to enjoy the sun and sand and decided not to spend time dealing with getting them working. (It was noted that in the of the property description that there was a TV in every bedroom, but there was not one in the room with the twin beds. It also said there was a tennis court, which there was, but at the time we visited it was closed and not available to use). The owner of the condo was very responsive to our questions and was extremely kind and helpful. He even had toilet paper delivered to us when we ran out in the unit. We would definitely come back to this place and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place on Sanibel Island.

Loved this condo! Well stocked, beach toys, nice pool. Located right along bike trails. Residents that we met were all super nice. Would stay again. Tennis court was closed, which was a bummer :(

Great Condo

This is a very pleasant place to spend time on Sanibel. When I rate a property, I rate for what we expect NOT a comparison to other properties in the area. This property will never have a view of the water but that is not what was described so I could not be disappointed. Sandpebbles is an easy 5-10 minutes walk to the beach. Adequate beach chairs are provided and an umbrella and some sand toys for kids!!! The condo building's pool is fine. Plenty of chairs in shade or sun all times of the day. It was clean and warm. The canal behind the building offers nice seating area and grills. You can watch for wildlife ... birds, turtles, jumping fish and reported alligators! The location on the island is perfect for exploring by bike or car!!! The unit itself is spacious for a 2 bedroom/ 2bath condo. The unit was very clean and fairly well maintained for a rental unit. The master bedroom has a king bed ( a great surprise since the description said queen) that was comfy. We did not use the twin bedroom. Good closet space in both room and plenty of good towels. Living area had comfortable seating and TV. Some fun family games and an assorted adult library are provided. The screened porch on the front of the unit was great. There are doors from master bedroom and living area. The porch had table and 4 chairs, no lounger. The kitchen was very well appointed for our needs, even an electric fry pan...do not remember seeing a blender and as in EVERY place we stay many DULL knives. Some spices were there too! Unit was stocked with coffee filters, paper towels, kleenex, 3 dishwasher soaps, garbage bags and even a small box of laundry detergent. We loved the door locking with a push button code so we did not have to have keys with us!! Owner answered all my questions quickly and left a phone number if needed. DISAPPONTMENTS: Description read that there was a washing machine/dryer in the unit!! (would have been great for those super thick beach towels). the laundry facilities are in a common area on the ground floor and cost $0.75 per wash/dry. Not a big deal but not nearly as nice as inside the unit!!! The tennis court could NOT be used!!! We were told by a resident that insurance company had prohibited usage because surface was unsafe!!! We enjoyed our week in this small quiet property.

This was perfect for what we needed. The condo was clean and well furnished. Just a short walk to the beach and the pool water was clean and warm. The bike paths make cycling around the island easy. Don't miss the public market on Sunday. Our only issue was with the cable connection. David responded quickly to our emails concerning no signal.

Don't understand how you can get along without fans in the bathrooms in this hot humid Florida weather. Only other complaint was there were no dish towels in the kitchen and very stingy on the paper products. Also very limited selection of TV channels.

SANDPEBBLES MIDDLE GULF DRIVE

We stayed in David's unit 2F the first week in January. The weather was very nice and suitable for swimming in the nice, clean pool. The unit itself was well-decorated, well-maintained and clean. The front balcony was relaxing to sit, eat or just watch the scenery. The deck in the rear of the property provided a wonderful view of the estuary formed by the Sanibel River and the many critters that reside there. We saw turtles, egrets, pelicans, fish, and, yes, an occasional alligator. There were grills handy to use, tennis courts and a bicycle rack. The condo is located in a very nice area, centrally located close to Periwinkle Way (Sanibel's main road) and close to shopping, golfing and restaurants. We found that the unit was very fairly priced, especially for January, when accommodations on or overlooking a beach would cost three times as much. The beach was straight across the road about 200 yards. We would not hesitate to rent this unit again!

Clean, Convenient, Great Location!

We had a fantastic time at our stay this past week! We are a family of 4 with two young children. The condo was incredibly clean and we loved the ease of getting into the condo. It was well stocked with towels, beach towels, and beach supplies. Super easy to walk to the beach, parking was easy as well. David was great to work with! Lots of wildlife nearby too. We ate on our lanai every day and enjoyed eating dinner outside at the community table/grill. We are looking at trying to come back again next year as we enjoyed Sanibel so much!

Perfect location.

The condo is exactly as described. It is just across the street from the Sundial where there is access to the beach. Additionally, Bailey's grocery has a small market at the Sundial. The property is well maintained and the kitchen is well equipped for cooking. It is a very quiet condo complex and this unit is a corner unit which feels more private. The owner is very accessible and responsive. I will not hesitate to return.

A nice place, but had some issues. Worked with owner to resolve; was not entirely successful.

The condo is nicely furnished and spacious with comfortable sleeping arrangements. It’s a short walk to the beach—5-6 minutes, and lots to do and see on the island—lighthouse, Historic Village, JN Ding Darling Wildlife Reserve, C.R.O.W, Sea Shell Museum to mention a few must-see places. Loads of bikers and walkers, and Captiva Island is a short drive away—a visit to the Mucky Duck is a must. We did have some issues that are detailed below. All-in-all the condo was a nice space, and without the issues would have rated our stay higher. The kitchen has been remodeled—granite counter tops and new cabinets, however, the stove was probably not replaced during the remodel. Two of the burners did not heat correctly and the oven did not heat properly. (We stayed for 3 weeks so ate meals in the condo quite often.) The coffee maker was very old--the heat plate was rusted and did not keep the coffee well heated---also took a while to brew a pot of coffee. We battled sugar ants on the kitchen counters & around the refrigerator during our stay (even found some in the bathrooms—they congregate around water); had to spray at least 3 times, put out ant traps, & cleaned counters each night with bleach spray (per Google advice). We had to keep the food that did not need refrigeration on the dining room table to keep it away from the ants. The speed of the WiFi was a problem when surfing the internet or watching Amazon Prime (I imagine Netflix and Hulu would be the same)—the WiFi would buffer several times while watching a program…annoying. Also, the internet would go off and on intermittently. We worked with the owner (he’s remote in another state) to get it fixed, even went to the cable company store to pick up a new router and install it, but unfortunately the speed issues were not resolved. The owner said the entire building was WiFi-challenged—other tenants also confirmed the WiFi in the building was not optimal—sounds like a service call is in order for the entire condo complex. While the condo was clean, there were some minor issues in the kitchen and bathroom. We found some mildew…not surprising since Florida is hot and humid—also the bathrooms are not equipped with fans to pull the humidity out when bathing. (The bleach spray came in handy again!) I imagine the cleaning crew doesn’t have lots of time to do thorough cleanings in between tenants, but would be a good idea to schedule one. Again, if not for these issues, would have rated our stay higher.
