”Clean and charming”

”What a lovely find. Firstly the excellent Aldo and his staff. Friendly and efficient. Always willing to go the extra mile and nothing too much trouble. Need something and you'll get an immediate response. A lovely fella. The rooms were perfect for us. Tucked in a quiet back street in the old city. Quiet. Inside the property be prepared for steep steps and in our suite a tight metal/wood staircase to the mezzanine bedroom. But really it was great and if you want to venture up to the roof terrace,...

The station is a bit far and not many taxis around so we had to walk 20mins to the hotel in the hot sun which was brutal but the hotel receptionist Davide was so nice as soon as we walked in. ”The best location you can get in Lecce. Steps from the centro historico, quiet even though it's on a relatively busy street, with easy, gated parking right in front of the Dimora. A beautiful old converted mansion. The breakfasts were tasty, plentiful, and the service was great. If you like staying in a city center, this is a great choice, and with the easy parking, coming and going is a snap. The room wasn't large, but it had a lovely balcony and was bright and airy. We'll stay there again.”

”The owner was fabulous with helping us navigate our stay and the staff was great. Breakfast was fabulous. The pool was great. Centrally located to everything we needed. We got lucky with parking but parking is an issue throughout Italy. It would be nice to have air conditioning because we couldn't keep the windows open due to foot traffic noise. great price point and lovely room. bathroom was large enough for two people to get ready. we really liked it.”
