”What a lovely find. Firstly the excellent Aldo and his staff. Friendly and efficient. Always willing to go the extra mile and nothing too much trouble. Need something and you'll get an immediate response. A lovely fella. The rooms were perfect for us. Tucked in a quiet back street in the old city. Quiet. Inside the property be prepared for steep steps and in our suite a tight metal/wood staircase to the mezzanine bedroom. But really it was great and if you want to venture up to the roof terrace,...

”L'Orangerie d'Epoque is an absolutely unique experience. The room is very high and comfortable with furniture that brings to mind my grandmother's house. Another very nice feature is a pleasant private garden, which is at the disposal of the guests. The house is near the historical centre of Lecce. I was there in quite hot weather in June, and the room remained very cool and comfortable. It was, however, NOT air-conditioned, as was advertised. ”Nice room, good location. Only negative I can come up with is that the door to your room is next to the breakfast room. If you want to sleep late, you will wake up for the noices when other people go to have breakfast. But there were only 4 rooms so that was not a big issue and I would stay in this B&B again. The lady, who took care of us was super frindly and nice. The house itself is beautiful. The bed was super comfortable!!! ”

”The owner was fabulous with helping us navigate our stay and the staff was great. Breakfast was fabulous. The pool was great. Centrally located to everything we needed. We got lucky with parking but parking is an issue throughout Italy. It would be nice to have air conditioning because we couldn't keep the windows open due to foot traffic noise. great price point and lovely room. bathroom was large enough for two people to get ready. we really liked it.”

”The best location you can get in Lecce. Steps from the centro historico, quiet even though it's on a relatively busy street, with easy, gated parking right in front of the Dimora. A beautiful old converted mansion. The breakfasts were tasty, plentiful, and the service was great. If you like staying in a city center, this is a great choice, and with the easy parking, coming and going is a snap. The room wasn't large, but it had a lovely balcony and was bright and airy. We'll stay there again.”

”Staff is good and location is great. The need for improvement should be in amenities and infrastructure, ie breakfast, towels, soap, tissues and ventilation. Overall it is more a boutique hotel and shouldn’t be advertise as a five star establishment.”
