”The staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was great. The property's jungle setting and landscaping made me feel like I was in a jungle. And while not a nightly occurrence, having howler monkeys howling the first evening really set the tone to remind me I wasn't in California. A special callout to the staff at Fiona's restaurant, the food was great, but talking with the staff there was super fun. I would recommend Maya Mountain Lodge to anyone and everyone.”

”When we arrived we were met by Leo who was our contact for the entire stay. He was our bartender, waiter, and tour guide. Leo made our vacation memorable, he went above and beyond. The resort was beautiful and all the employees where friendly and did everything to make sure we were comfortable and happy. When we go back to San Ignacio we will be staying at this resort again. The food was amazing.”

”Wifi was spotty. Husband was having a tough time working. Movies kept pausing and buffering, so that made it difficult to see anything all the way through! Food was excellent! Staff was friendly and accommodating to the best of their ability. My last stay was 10 years ago, Aug 2016! We noticed lots of upgrades to the property. We'll be back, and will choose our 1st room #3 next time!!”

”The hotel was pretty modern and new. The double suite was very large and beautiful. It was a pretty quiet, family business and the staff was so nice and accommodating. It felt like staying with family. The food was delicious as well. The area is pretty isolated, but a short cab ride can take you to town for groceries and restaurants. Super refreshing and pretty pool, and the beds were SO comfortable. ”

”We recently stayed at Hidden Valley Wilderness Lodge, and it was truly the highlight of our entire trip. If you love nature, luxury, and tranquility, this place is paradise.
I have to start with the culinary experience because the food was absolutely excellent! Every single meal was outstanding and a massive highlight of our stay. We even took a cooking class with the Chef Kenron, which was incredibly informative and interesting. We ended up making a truly delightful peanut soup that we won't...

”Spacious, amazing to have private rooftop pool. Was able to get in room massages which were wonderful. Staff was excellent. Tiny bit of noise from dog across street a couple of times but did not disturb sleep and otherwise very quiet and nice to be a little away from the downtown.”
