”I truly enjoyed my stay. The room was spaceous and bed very comfy. There is free tea and popcorn and the terrace is a nice bonus. Breakfast was also good. Staff is very friendly and eager to help the guests. The B&B is about 5 min walk away from shops and restaurants. Altough it's Down/uphill. There is a corner shop and a soda few steps away, but I didn't try them. 4 star hotel for me. ”

”The room that we chose was not we booked for but fine for a reason. The food and the staff was very great and so hospitable and accommodating in all ways. We love to stay again if opportunity arises.”

”We were going back and forth between a few different properties and we are so glad we ended up going with this one!!! The staff was amazing and attentive (especially Hamid and Kevin), the staff went above and beyond to make our stay as easy and comfortable as possible, the bedding was great, and the grounds made you feel like you were on a retreat. We loved the intimate feel and getting to know the staff. We were sad to leave but look forward to the opportunity to return!”

”We stayed in a family room by the pool. It was awesome. Great property. Lovely staff. Comfy beds. Delicious breakfast. Pool was warm. Hot tub could be hotter. Wish there was a microwave in the room. Pool was very nice, and while the resort does overall seems family friendly, the pool is overall somewhat small and includes a swim up bar...so kids jumping, thrashing, splashing around isn't necessarily compatible. I did feel like I had to police my kids quite a bit to prevent them splashing people...

”We stayed here two nights in July and enjoyed our stay. First of all, the customer service is superb! The lady in the reception was super friendly and had great knowledge of the trips and things to do in the area. She also arranged us very good transportation to the Nicaraguan border with few phone calls whereas the guy in the tourist information in the centre of Santa Elena clearly wasn't aware of the proper options. Cala Lodge is a bit out of the centre of Santa Elena, however, there are nice...

”When we arrived to the hotel they didn't know we were coming because they hadn't got our reservation, although I had got the confirmation. Fortunately they had two rooms available. I would have called them because we came pretty late, but there wasn't any telephone number at hotels.com confirmation message. The hotel was neat and clean, but big minus is that there was only cold water in the shower. Breakfast was big and good. ”
