”Amazing place. Really clean and quiet. I loved everything, including the puppy that lives there! Would definitely come back. The main avenue was really close to Lava House, so you can come and go as you please and it just takes a couple minutes to reach the main bay. Overall I had a great experience with this place.”

”I am a middle aged woman travelling solo. The room was perfect and secure. The pool is not designed for lounging in the sun, but great for a dip. Tortuga Bay is about a 45 minute walk on a well maintained path. When you get to the beach, go to he right and walk to the end where you’ll find a path through the mangrove and opens up to a calm pool like swimming area with shade trees and great snorkelling. Very safe to venture out anytime to explore the town, enjoy some wine and walk home. ”

Overall, we are very disappointed and feel frustrated on our stay. The room looks nothing like the pictures. It is very small, dark, damp and hot with little space for luggages. ”Ariana’s is excellent to stay in. The beds are super comfortable, the view from the kitchen area is great, the air conditioning worked great. Across the street is undeveloped land so we saw several new birds. It is a little over a mile to the harbor so if that’s more of a walk than you’d like, taxis are everywhere. All kinds of stores are within 2-3 blocks. We loved the neighborhood. ”

”We only stayed overnight between the afternoon ferry from Isabela and the morning ferry to San Cristobal. It is difficult to rate the hotel as we were not there long. Our room did have a nice balcony with a hammock. The room had a mini fridge. The water in the shower was cool, couldn’t get it to go hot. The grounds of the hotel were nice and has a small pool. ”
