Sandy by the Sea -

Sinulla on elämäsi aika, kun sinä ja perheesi lomat "Sandy by the Sea". Tämä ihastuttava rantakoti on vain lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä Etelä-Waltonin rantojen sokerivalkoisesta hiekasta.

Hiekkarannalla meressä on 4 makuuhuonetta ja 2 kylpyhuonetta, ja siellä on runsaasti auringonvaloa monien ikkunoidensa ja avotoimistonsa kautta. Ensimmäisessä kerroksessa on iso olohuone, jossa on kolme sohvaa, yksi vuodesohva ja kaksi istuintuolia. Kaunis keittiö ruostumattomasta teräksestä valmistetuilla laitteilla ja graniittiset työtasot, aamiaisbaari, johon mahtuu kaksi ja erillinen ruokasali, johon mahtuu kuusi. Tässä kerroksessa on myös kaksi vierashuonetta, joissa on queen-vuoteet, täysi sali kylpyhuone ja pesutupa. Etukuistilla on kietoutuvuus nauttimaan lempeästä merituulesta. Toisessa kerroksessa on king-makuuhuone itselleen. Makuuhuoneessa on kylpyhuone, jossa on erillinen suihku ja puutarha-amme, ja seulotaan kuistilla, johon pääsee ranskalaisten ovien kautta. Turvatarkoitun kuistilla on ulkoterassi. Kolmannessa kerroksessa on kahden hengen kerrossänky, jossa kaksi vuodetta. Täydellinen makuuhuone lapsille rentoutua ja katsella televisiota tai elokuvaa.

Takapihalla on suuri yksityinen lämmitetty uima-allas, jota ympäröi runsaasti lepotuoleja nauttiaksesi rauhallisesta hetkestä uima-altaan vieressä.

Ensimmäinen kerros: Olohuone vuodesohvalla, ruokasali, keittiö, king-makuuhuone, queen-makuuhuone, täysihalli ja pesutupa.

Toinen kerros: King-makuuhuone, jossa täysi kylpyamme, suojattu kuisti ja parveke.

Kolmas kerros: parivuode / parivuode, jossa kaksi vuodetta.

Sandy by the Sea 2025

This was our third stay at Sandy by the Sea and it once again was excellent. The home is very comfortable and the location is perfect. The heated pool was very welcome on some high wind days that made the beach less than ideal. Finally, our dog appreciated the fenced in back yard.

October Stay

We arrived as Hurricane Milton was bearing down on Tampa. Fortunately for us, the weather was absolutely perfect in the panhandle. The house was great, which happened to be a consolation to the house we originally booked just a block over ( the owner accidentally double booked us and cancelled our reservation - real professional). We were really happy with this alternative. The home is very nice and spacious. The lawn, yard and pool were all very nice. The pool area could use an upgrade on the furniture, but we learned that on a 5-night trip the pool was barely used at all. I think a small part of that is because there is no access from the house to the pool, you need to walk down the driveway and through the gate to the backyard, which just made us forget about it a little. The only other downside we found was the 2 bathrooms. We were fine with just us and two kids, but since there are 4 (nice) bedrooms, if you plan to pack it in, I hope everyone is pretty friendly. Space is otherwise good. Living room seating is basically theater couches, but they were good and could seat a lot of people. Kitchen worked well and the master is spacious. Access to the beach and surrounding restaurants, cafes, ice cream shop and beach are all great. Side note: we did rent a 6-person golf cart, which was nice, but I don’t really think it was necessary. We did use it to take stuff to the beach, but you could do that with your car. Overall, recommended!

It was decent

The house was pretty nice but after cslling three times no one ever cleaned the pool. I saw pool chemical bags in the trash can one day, so maybe they dumped carnival or salt in, but you could tell no one ever vacuumed or skimmed the pool. Just walking around in it you could see the settled dirt flow up. And i asked three times. Idk

This was our second stay at Sandy by the Sea. Once again we had a great visit. The heated pool was a bonus for the grandkids on a few cooler days. The location is great. All-around a great stay.

Wonderful Birthday Week

My family enjoyed our week at Sandy by the Sea. It was my birthday trip. The location was perfect. The house had space for everyone and our pups. The wraparound porches, pool and back yard were nice and the beach was lovely, only a short walk away. Many good restaurants and fun shops nearby as well. We had a great time!

Bottom rooms were hot,gas grill did not work, no light bulbs in lamps, pool was dirty, ants around pool. Would definitely not recommend staying there? Had to have fans in room just to keep the air flowing.

We absolutely loved our stay in Santa Rosa! We were very pleased with the house. We had everything we needed. House was very clean. The pool was great. A few minutes walk to the beach. Nice paved bike/walk path to Grayton.

Relaxing Family Vacation

I know some may think it’s an oxymoron to say relaxing and family in the same sentence, but this truly was! The house was beautiful and fit our adult family well. The closeness to the beach, walking paths and private pool were a dream! The cowgirl kitchen and Irish pub added elements of nearby entertainment and variety. The short drive to Destin allowed us to capture a dolphin tour and the Boathouse Oyster bar two of our favorite stops! I highly recommend this location.

We had a wonderful time! The weather was colder than we would have liked for a few of the days so we couldn’t use the pool but the location of the house was perfect. Upon arrival, we found that the master bedroom bathroom toilet did not work but the management company sent someone out immediately. They were very responsive which was so nice! The plumber snaked the toilet though, which completely scratched up the porcelain :( I wouldn’t be happy about that at all if this was my home. Other than that, the house was great, the location is perfect and I would definitely come back :)

Nice place

Overall we really enjoyed the stay. Great pool and privacy (we spent a lot of time in the pool area). House temp was nice, beds were very comfortable, and house was nicely furnished. Wi-fi worked flawlessly. Overall house cleanliness was good although we did kill a couple roaches. A few things would improved the stay, Backdoor steps need rebuilt, clothes washer doesn't seem to disperse detergent properly, a better coffee would be nice, and the grille didn't work. Beach chairs and umbrellas would be nice (for those who didn't bring them). These are not complaints, just suggestions for improvements IMO.

Sandy by the Sea

Overall - great stay. The check-in process was super easy. When we arrived; however, the pool was terribly dirty (floating bugs, plastic, film, etc,). We emailed and Ocean Reef (the property management) responded very quickly. They explained that the pool was not cleaned and would be cleaned the next day. The next day, the pool technician stated that it needed to be shocked /treated and would not be usable for a few days. That was our only issue; otherwise - great stay!

We had a great stay. The location, pool, and ability to have our dog were much appreciated.

VRBO and local property manager (ocean Reef) were excellent to work with. From property search to departure process, all was very smooth.

Overall everything was as advertised except…..

The home is very nice, well kept and spacious, located off 30 a. With Covid on the rise NOBODY in this area wears a mask, including restaurant staff. Very concerning since they are preparing our food. We had several items that needed maintenance, which was promptly addressed. However, on one occasion we had ants in the kitchen and garbage areas. I notified the rental agency we had dogs to be careful what they sprayed, but the young man sprayed my dogs water bowl!! Obviously not a professional. My main concern was the lack of chemicals (chlorine) in the pool. We requested service which never showed. Would not stay here again. For those interested, the real estate company Ocean Reef, was very helpful and professional. The beach was extremely crowded and a 7 minute walk.

Great house near the beach

The house was great and had quick walking access to the beach right around the corner. House was very spacious and allowed 3 families to live with ease. The pool in the back was really nice and the dogs loved the fenced in back yard to play around in. Lots of lizards running around which was fun for the kids as well! The house was surface level clean but found lots of dust and dirt around especially under the couches. The washer also smelled pretty moldy so we did avoid using it as well unless we had to. Overall with the small issues encountered above we would absolutely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay here. We've been coming to this area for years and absolutely love the location. The house was perfect walking distance to the beach, restaurants, shops. The house wasn't as clean as expected for the price but was ok. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Great Property For Families

We had a family group of 10 stay over at the house and it was a fantastic experience. Easy to check in and communicate with the property managers. I highly recommend this location for staying at Blue Mountain Beach.

Fun Times!

Our family had a wonderful vacation here at Sandy by the Sea! Check-in/check-out was seamless, kitchen was very well outfitted and the pool was great! Tons of towels! A few maintenance issues came up but management was very responsive. We decided after the fact to have my daughter's dog join us and the add-on fee was reasonable and painless. Easy walk to the beach and we loved that Blue Mountain Beach area was less crowded than the rest of 30A. We would definitely rent this great house again!
