âIt was so convenient to walk around everywhere in San Jose! The host was very kind and accommodating even though I didnât speak much Spanish. I would stay here again!â

âThe property is very nice, comfortable and 24 hr gate security. No one can and will get past the entry gate if you are not a guest. Very quiet, clean and AC worked wonderfully đŻ. The water went out a few times but this comes with the country happenings .. Staff very nice and helpful. You will need a car or UBER to move around. FYI driving in Costa Rica is a nightmare .. please consider your plans. I am a native but live in the US.. would definitely stay again . â

âThe hotel is well located since it is within a walking distance from central SJO. Atmosphere in the hotel is excellent as well as service.
Yes - the breakfast could be larger or the pool bigger, but I always assess locations from a price/quality perspective and stress cleanliness and security. And from these points of view, Santo Tomas is a first rate choice. Highly recommended. I would go again. â
