”We spent 6 nights in Funchal and 3 nights at Quinta Pereira. QP was a wonderful counter-balance to a busy first week. Contemporary and tastefully appointed villa, gorgeous patios and terraces, lovely pool and hot tub, and stunning views. Amenities, restaurants et al are a 10-15 minute drive away. A surreal retreat for two couples.”

”Our first visit to this gorgeous island. The villa was well equipped, very clean and had amazing views. Jorge and his family were very helpful and friendly. There are a couple of restaurants and a small shop that are walkable but everything else is a drive away so would recommend a hire car as essential. We had an amazing holiday and would love to return someday.”

”Great property. We stayed for 11 days with family and i would chose it again. The location is not far from motorways going east, west and north. Very easy to explore the island from here. Ribeira Brava has a lovely black sand beach, very easy to get to by car. If you want to leave the car at home for the day, you can easily book a Bolt as well and be at the beach in less than 10 minutes. ”

”Beautiful villa with amazing views!!! Nice and tidy, modern inside. Very quiet area. About 15/20min walk to beach, restaurants, shop. We didn't had a car taxi available at the village. Only one thing didn't like villa is on big mountain and it's VERY STEEP to walk back :)”

”This is an awesome place. Tons of room and spent half a day in the pool watching planes land at the airport. Glide path is right in front and level with the property but far enough out so little noise. The only drawback of the property is the two barking dogs next door. Took a while getting used to it and no recourse to ask the owners to quiet them. I have owned dogs my whole life so it’s easy to do but the neighbors just let them go. Small thing really but be prepared for it. Other than that...

”We celebrated my moms 75th birthday. Her bucket list consisted of seeing Portugal where her family was from. We started our vaca in Madeira at this beautiful home. It was spacious, clean and a perfect place for family to gather. We felt safe and truly enjoyed all the amenities... the work out room, pool table and pool. The host was easy to talk to and very accommodating. Truly appreciate the opportunity to rent your space. I would recommend for sure!”

”We enjoyed our three nights here very much. It is in an absolutely gorgeous location and walks are possible from the house. The house is clean and well equipped. The owners mother brought us a pitcher of poncha the local drink which we enjoyed. I recommend this place very much to anyone.”

”Ein sehr schönes Haus, sauber und gepflegt. Alles da was man braucht, Grill, gute Küchenausstattung, großer Kühlschrank. Wer sich selbst bekochen will, muss allerdings alles, auch Salz und Pfeffer, vor Ort besorgen. Von allen Zimmern, Küche und Wohnbereich ein toller Blick auf das Meer. Die Autobahn ist zwar in Sichtweite, stört aber nicht wirklich. Die Lage ist zentral, 10 min bis zum Supermarkt und 20 min. bis in die Innenstadt von Funchal. Das Haus hat eine große Garage mit direktem Zugang...
