Estancia Santa Bárbara

A unique and exquisite 17th-century colonial house in the iconic Santa Barbara neighborhood, the heart of Santo Domingo’s colonial district.

Located near the banks of the Ozama River and the remains of the La Negreta wall, where slaves disembarked during Antillean trade. Until 2000, the Coraza family owned this house-workshop for repairing merchant ships. Manuel Bolós, the gallery owner, then acquired it.
