”Small room but clean and had everything you need! This was our 5th and final Hotel of our stay in CR and the only hotel with conditioner and a bidet. Towels were the softest as well and the pillows were perfect. Staff was gracious and very helpful. Mini bar type fridge in lobby with gluten free and alcohol options. Being near the airport there was some noise but minimal and the pools little waterfall helped mitigate that. Overall, great place near the airport, and 5 minites from Jumbo car...

”I checked out before breakfast was served. The hotel was conveniently located with plenty of restaurants and shops around it. The room was spacious and clean, and the bed was comfortable. Getting here by Uber from the airport took 1 hr due to traffic congestions in the late afternoon. But going to the airport in the early morning hour (before 6 am) took only 15 min. Overall, it was a nice stay and the hotel and room condition are as one would expect of a Holiday Inn Express. ”

”We now have a tradition to stay and eat here the night before we have to leave CR to go home. The hotel is wonderful as well as the staff and the food at the steakhouse is he best!! Thank you El Rodeo for always making our last night of vacationf wonderful!”

”The hotel is well located since it is within a walking distance from central SJO. Atmosphere in the hotel is excellent as well as service. Yes - the breakfast could be larger or the pool bigger, but I always assess locations from a price/quality perspective and stress cleanliness and security. And from these points of view, Santo Tomas is a first rate choice. Highly recommended. I would go again. ”
