Peaceful Little Cottage

This was our second time staying here. The property is well maintained and clean. There’s a very nice backyard with a nice grill. The neighborhood is quiet and we felt safe. It’s obvious that the owner takes great pride in making this cottage a welcoming place for visitors.

Awesome!

We do travel a lot and see a lot , this house was one of our favorites. Starting with how clean it was (that is always my number one), how nicely it was decorated. Back yard amazing!! Very good fance around, safe for dogs. Location was great, close to Sarasota, not far from the beach. If you like to go to dog friendly beach is little bit farther, about 30 min but it is great place to go. We loved the farmers market what is only 5 min away. We would definitely go back!

Very nice little home away from home.

Sarasota/Siesta Key 2024

We rented this property for two months, January and February 2024. The home was very clean. The beds were very comfortable. The back yard is huge and completely fenced in. The owner was easy to reach but left us alone. She even texted us about a storm warning the first night we were there. The owner provided lots of supplies for the beach. Chairs, coolers, beach umbrella, etc. We played golf every week and Bent Tree Country Club was our favorite. We went to the beach everyday we were not golfing. Siesta Key Beach is beautiful but busy. Go early for parking. There is lifeguards. Most days we went to Turtle Beach on the southern end of Siesta Key. We loved Turtle Beach because it was quieter, a little older crowd. There are no lifeguards at Turtle. Our favorite seafood restaurants were Walt’s Fish Market ( go really early, very busy), and Turtles on Sarasota Bay. Best clam chowder at Captain Curt’s. Favorite pizza Shaner’s Pizza in Gulf Gate. The owner has a welcome info packet. VRBO was supposed to email us and we only got the first page. Just check with Ruta the owner. Enjoy your stay!

Exceeded our Expectations

Upon entering the home, it not only smelled clean, it truly was clean. Every where it was evident that Ruta had carefully paid attention to every detail. Little things like having an assortment of tea bags, kindling for the fire ring, a nice clean grill, and plenty of supplies let us know this little home has a very personal touch. We would definitely stay here again.

cozy and relaxing stay

We loved this property. Small, cozy, clean and a very quiet relaxing area. Felt very safe. Close to everything. Well equipped. Back yard perfect for my reactive German shepherd due to the quietness of the area. So spent some time in the yard chasing balls around. Lots of room for him. Very close to Bay Village so we would definitely stay here again.

My daughter and I came to pick up my grandson from his Ringling Pre-College stay. We enjoyed the house. Beds are exceptional and house is clean and comfortable. Nothing fancy, but we didn't need fancy. We needed just what this house offered! We will stay again if he goes to college there.

The house was super nice and welcoming, the only downfall we had, which was probably me not reading description well, was the small bed, I’m 6 ft 4 in so the bed was small for me. But other than that the host was fantastic!

Quiet and relaxing beach house!

My husband and I went for our anniversary and stayed for 2 nights. It was the perfect distance to shops and restaurants by the beach, and had a great yard for our goldendoodle to run around in! The place was immaculate and had all the necessities. It was just what we needed for a little getaway. We will definitely be coming back soon! Thank you for the lovely stay.
