”Staff were fantastic HOWEVER…. Important information if you are choosing this hotel because of the gym- Expedia does not share that there is a fee of 2500 Y/ per person per day. It is NOT included in your hotel stay.
We were able to exercise outside at 5:30 am before it got hot. Besides this - of a gym or payment for usage doesn’t matter to you- highly recommend this hotel!! Incredible view from our room, excellent temperature and quiet!! ”
”I thought the property was very nice inside with the use of traditional Japanese styles of the tatami rooms and comfortable beds as well as the sliding rice paper doors. It had a great shower room, which could be used like a Onsen with a deep soaking tub and short stool with bucket. But even with these traditional styles, you could’ve easily taken a standup shower. Washer and dryer worked great. Kitchen is well equipped. Breakfast was delivered promptly every morning, however, might recommend...

I will note that the room sizes are fairly small, but none of this comes as a surprise (square meters are obviously visible upon booking). ”Wonderful hotel!
We had the largest room at a top floor. Nice views of the surrounding area and lots of light. Staff is very friendly and really goes the extra mile to help you and answer all questions as well as make recommendations. Their English was very good too.
Please disregard all the reviews saying this hotel is far from the station! There are plenty of stations around within a 5-15 min walk so if you don’t want to go to the further one you can always adjust your travel itinerary...

”Erittäin viihtyisä hotelli kätevällä sijainnilla. Tilava huone. Lisävuode tuntui aivan kunnon vuoteelta. Sängyt isot ja mukavat. Koko hotelli erittäin siisti. Upea henkilökunta. Yleiset tilat viihtyisät ja mm pyykinpesukoneita mahdollista käyttää. Sijainti näppärä. Alue rauhallinen, useita ruokapaikkoja sekä pieniä ruokakauppoja/kioskeja. Loistavat yhteydet ympäri kaupunkia. ”The hotel is really luxurious, maybe a bit outdated. The views are nice, beds are good and the room we had for 3 was good size.
There is a nice park next to the hotel.”

”Sakura Tower is part of the Prince hotels complex. The swimming pool and most of the shops and restaurants are in the Prince Takanawa hotels, a short walk across the garden. There is a separate charge of 2000 yen to use the pool or gym. Hotel is conveniently located few minutes walk from Shinagawa station. Service was excellent, room and bathroom large and in good condition. Very quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was fine, too.”
