”The check in process was terrible. The gentleman was not friendly at all. I was paying for all 4 of our rooms and he said I could not check anyone in. He had to see my husband and all 3 of my kids. I understand he had to see their license but it was the why he did it. He said I couldn’t do anything he could only deal with my husband and he was very rude about it. Then once everyone was checked in, we were all on different floors. I had called the hotel and asked for us to be all on the same...

”Given the history and age of this hotel, it has its quirks. Rooms are not your standard, cookie-cutter layout. But it is clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff was very helpful. Note there isn't a restaurant in the building currently, but there are several options within one block. The hotel's proximity to Soo Locks is probably it's most desirable feature.”
