”Hotel service was excellent from dropping the bags off to checking out. They were so accommodating for dogs nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was great and the free tea and coffee was great”

”Das Hotel hat eine erstklassige Lage. Die Zimmer mit Meerblick sind klasse. Die Sicht auf‘s Meer ist traumhaft schön.
Das Viertel hinten raus ist sehr schlicht und nicht so prickelnd. Man muss ein paar Meter laufen um in schönere Ecken des Ortes zu kommen.
Herausragend ist das Personal, alle, wirkliche alle Mitarbeitenden sind super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auch der Chef des Hauses ist toll, er hat uns bei einem Problemchen schnell geholfen.
Das Frühstück im Hotel ist typisch englisch und...
”What a lovely hotel. We stayed in a different one around the corner the night before and what a difference our stay here was. Staff friendly, accomodation and nothing was too much trouble! The food was beautifully cooked! Homemade nom nom. We were made to feel welcome and will be going back with our little boy for sure!

The host James was very professional and happy to advise on the area .
Close to the cliff lift to the spa, and we found the area nice for walking around Scarborough.
The public transport links are close by , you can easily leave the car parked and enjoy a driving free break.

”Rebecca is the best! Whatever you want/need she’s there! Had a problem with the bedside lamp - she fixed it, injured my knee, she fed me (not for free I hasten to add before scores of people want the same!). ”It was just me and my son for an overnight stay. I hadn't paid for a sea view room and ended up with a large corner ensuite room with free tea/coffee,(Kettle). When we left the room the door wouldn't lock so went to reception to report it,in the meantime I went to get my car as I'd got a space in the hotel car park (very limited spaces £6.00 for the night).Back at the hotel they gave us another room a sea view with no extra charge. The room was spacious clean and had everything we needed the breakfast was lovely and the staff were very helpful
The live entertainment in the pub was great and it finished promptly at 11pm so we could go straight to bed after and even though the pub shuts at 12 we couldn't hear anything in the room xxxxx”
