”Property was everything described and more! Ryann has thought of everything. It’s the perfect spot to relax and have fun. The decor is adorable and the history of the storage container was fun to read about. There is a “dollar game” that guests have been playing for years that was fun to read the clues throughout the guest books. It’s the perfect space for whatever you’re looking for! We are looking forward to going back when we can stay longer.”

”The house was very clean and welcoming. We loved being close to the lake but also feeling at home. Smart tvs in every room to entertain the kids after a long day on the water. Only downfall was we didn’t really get to use the hot tub because the temp was too cold. ”

”Kelly was great and easy to talk with. Everything was very clean and the beds were comfortable. I slept very well my whole time there. The amenities such as the hot tub, grill and the fire pit were huge hit with the family. I would stay again and I plan to0! ”

”We wanted a peaceful getaway and that’s what got at the Buck Shack. We were a short drive with breathtaking views and landscapes. We enjoyed a campfire with s’mores at night. Enjoyed the sound of nature and birds singing. Had excellent communication with host and most everything we needed when we arrived. The indoor decor is rustic and beautifully decorated with small accents and details. Highly recommend!☺️”

”Size was great for the two of us parking was easy 25 ft from the door and the cottage was very clean. Not a bad walk to downtown 12 minute walk to shops and restaurants.”

”This was such a cute and cozy little place to stay nestled up in the woods. We stayed 2 nights for my boyfriend’s birthday weekend and enjoyed it so much! Spent a bunch of time relaxing in the hot tub and even cooked kabobs on the grill! Would definitely stay again.”

”Thanks so much for sharing this wonderful home with our family. Perfect for our family of 6 adults, 2 children and well behaved labradoodles to meet from destinations from ‘north’ and ‘south’. Grandchildren said ‘this is a Christmas House!’ Funny story…We read about the house ghost, ‘the butler’. My adult son was a little spooked, thought ‘the butler’ made my grandchildren’s beds, until my daughter in law said ‘I don’t think it was the ghost, I think it was your mom!’ :) Happy new year!”

”Lake View Manor was a great house for a quick getaway. The porch has a really nice view of the lake and perfect spot to bird watch. You felt like you were in the trees. The extra large table in the kitchen was perfect for our group to eat together and play games. There is plenty of room and was nice and clean.”

”Great house for a large family reunion. We made a lovely Thanksgiving dinner with this fully equipped kitchen. Everything you need and then some! Wonderfully large dining room seats 12 around the table easily. Loads of lovely dish ware and glassware to have a formal and festive family dinner. Every room is comfortable and spotless. Host was terrific!! Highly recommend for a large adult group.”

”Most of the pots and pans were filthy. The toaster oven didnt work. Im sorry to leave this review, but this is what you get. Also good thing i had a 4x4 or we would have never gotten out of the unplowed driveway.”

”This was a historic property with all the updates of a modern home. The hosts have made this a real labor of love with cute decorations, household necessities, snacks, and coziness everywhere. There were 2 twin beds in the kids room and a comfy queen bed in the master. We felt safe throughout our stay and got to see all the farm animals just up the road. Would highly recommend to friends and smaller families!”

”The house is really really lovely. all historic wood trims, bumped-out reading nooks, beautiful staircase, etc. The location looks super convenient on a map - right on Main Street - but OH the truck traffic! Even all through the night trucks go by. Like all historic houses, this one is right on top of the street, so sleep was not so great.
