”We rented electric bikes to ride over to the castle a few miles away. The whole process was simple. We even got to relax at the pool for a little while.
The staff was so accommodating and wonderful. Beds were comfy and clean. Really can’t complain.”

”Great hotel, great staff, great food, and really great golf.
Stayed at The Machrie for my 60th Birthday, mainly to play the golf course, but also as a base to explore Islay. We’ve stayed in many hotels - this was one of the best experiences we’ve had. My wife suffers from Coeliac Disease so has to have a strict gluten free diet. Staff were knowledgeable, identifying what dishes she could have and she wasn’t ill all week. ”Great Base for Exploring Arran
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Auchrannie Resort and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Arran.
The accommodation was comfortable, clean, and well maintained, providing a relaxing base to explore the island. One of the highlights was dining at the resort’s Cruize Restaurant, which offered healthy menu choices along with prompt and friendly service.

”Our room was beautiful, cozy, clean, and we'll decorated.
The staff were so nice and accommodating despite a flight change that left us checking in late and very hungry. They made us sandwiches and we're so kind.
The location is wonderful and the property grounds are nice.
Excellent breakfast. The continental was very well stocked and the menu items were delicious.”

”Staff a bit tricky re booking tables to eat. Reception didn’t say a thing but I felt like we got into trouble trying to get dinner. Just a heads up to anyone - book a table. Food and venue was beautiful all the same.”
