  • 2888 Vanha Drake DriveTervetuloa tähän uuteen Charleston-tyyliseen kotiin Mallard-järvellä. Hotelli sijaitsee rauhallisella asuinalueella, ja tämän kä��nteisen pohjaratkaisun kotiin kuuluu 3 makuuhuonetta / 2 kylpyhuonetta ensimmäisellä tasolla ja olohuone ja neljäs makuuhuone ylemmällä tasolla. Tämä ulkoasu mahdollistaa mahtavat näkymät järvelle monista 2. kerroksen ikkunoista. Vaikuttavassa suuressa huoneessa on katedraalin katot, parkettilattiat, suuri seinälle asennettu HDTV, kirjahyllyt ja erittäin mukavat kalusteet. Windows-tila mahdollistaa auringonvalon kirkastamisen ja upeat näkymät. Gourmet-keittiö avautuu olohuoneeseen ja siinä on kirsikka-shaker-tyyliset kaapit, kaasuliesi / uuni, seinäuuni, ruostumattomasta teräksestä valmistetut laitteet ja viinijäähdytin. Neljä vierasta voi istua laskurissa ja pitää kokkiyrityksen. Ruokailutilassa on pöytä kuusi ja verhoillut tuolit. Rentoudu ja jaa tarinoita päivästäsi rannalla ruokailun aikana. Viereinen sunroom tarjoaa vieraille lisää tilaa lukemiseen tai hiljaisen keskustelun nauttimiseen. Katsele järven läpi kulkevia eläimiä tämän upean huoneen monien ikkunoiden kautta. Astu kannelle, kun haluat grillata grilliä tai katsoa tähdet pimeällä yöllä.

    Olohuoneessa on täysi kylpyamme, josta pääsee salista. Vieressä on makuuhuone, jossa on queen-vuode. Suuntaa alakerrassa, kun on aika nukkua, josta löydät kolme muuta makuuhuonetta. Makuuhuoneessa on king-vuode ja ranskalaiset ovet, jotka johtavat suurelle turvatarkastetulle kuistille. Kylpyhuoneen kylpyamme on erittäin ylellinen ja siinä on kaksinkertainen pesuallas ja suuri kaakeloitu suihku. Suuri vaatehuone tallentaa vaatteet helposti. Toinen makuuhuone on king-vuode ja pääsy turvatarkastus kuisti. Aulan kylpyhuoneessa on kaksinkertainen pesuallas ja suihku / amme. Tämän tason kolmannessa makuuhuoneessa on kaksi kerrossänkyä. On kahden hengen vyöryä, joka vetää ulos, jolloin 3 vierasta voi nukkua tässä huoneessa mukavasti. Lapset rakastavat tätä erityistä tilaa. Pyykinpesuhuoneessa on täysikokoinen HE-pesukone ja kuivaaja.

    Astu seulotulle kuistille, joka kulkee kodin pituuden. Live Oaksin ja Loblolly Pinesin varjossa on näkymät Mallard-järvelle. Sipiä viileitä juomia pöydän ympärille neljäksi tai rentoutua paju sohvalla ja tuoleilla, kun katsot hirvieläinten rehua alusharjan läpi ja egrets kalastaa illalliseksi. Tämä ihastuttava koti on myös erittäin kätevä järvitalon tiloihin, tenniskenttiin, ratsastuskeskukseen ja rapu / kajakki-telakka. Aja pyöräsi pyörätietä kohti Bohicket Marina tai Freshfields Village. North Beach on lyhyt 2 kilometrin ajomatka tästä kodista.

Great house and location!

Lovely house, convenient location, and great house floor plan. Many beach chairs and toys. Would definitely enjoy staying in this home again.

Wonderful stay on Seabrook

We had a wonderful stay with our family in this lovely house. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and the kitchen was great for preparing meals together. The screened porch was perfect for reading and spending time together. The communication from the property managers was top-notch.

A relaxing getaway

We had such a wonderful vacation. The house was beautiful and well stocked. The beds were very comfy. I love how many bathrooms there were for the 7 of us! Everything was nearby that we needed and we love the fact that the beach was so close. My boys loved the beach. The kitchen was very well stocked, which worked out perfectly for a Thanksgiving dinner. I would highly recommend the property.

Everything was great. The only thing and this did not effect us is that there are fair number of cobwebs in the house and the outside of the home really needs a good power washing

Beautiful view

We have rented houses at Kiawah, Edisto, and Fripp Islands and this house has been our favorite. There are two bedrooms with king size beds, and mattresses are very comfortable. The living area is on the top floor so the view of the water is beautiful. The kitchen needs full sets of measuring spoons/ cups but everything else we needed was available.

Bad Host

Air was not working in the house when we arrived on Sunday. Contacted host they tried fixing it the first few days of trip. Was helpful at first credited us a night and extended our trip for an extra night. with the air still not working they basically just said we don’t know if we can get it fixed and since it was already Thursday they really didn’t wanna move us. We were supposed to be there until Sunday. They finally got half of the air working Friday night. I called the host Monday to let her know about our experience and lady said she would call me back. Never heard back from her. The house was very nice but I hope you don’t have any issues while you visit. Very disappointed we barely got to enjoy the house because we had to stay out all day because it was so hot

Needs a thorough cleaning inside and out

It’s a very nice house, however it’s obvious the owners are not there often. The garage code opener is hanging on by a thread and the lock with the key inside is not very operator friendly. The house needs a good cleaning and landscaping done on the outside-many cobwebs and dirt. Mold and mildew in all bathroom showers, which I sprayed, as we didn’t want to take showers with all the mold/mildew. The shower curtain was covered in mildew and no one wanted to take a shower there. I sprayed it several times and it was much better. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed. Very disappointed with the condition of the home, considering how much we paid

Neat coastal island!

We enjoyed our week stay at this lovely 2888 Old Drake Drive house. The back of the house faces a lagoon, yes there are crocodiles in there! The landscaping is amazing with mature tall trees of every variety, which makes the house feel kind of private too. The entire island landscaping is amazing, very unique if you’re not from a coastal area. Make sure to read over all the Island rules in your welcome packet, there are a few (no hanging towels on deck, no standing at edge of lagoon, dress codes for restaurants, etc). Our family had 4 adults and 6 kids ages 4-15. The room divvying lead to single people having their own rooms and families with kids in their own rooms. Two of the rooms (one upstairs, one midlevel) could fit a blow up bed on the floor for kids, the other rooms could not have. Just some info for families who may need it. Some of the bikes were not useable (tires with no tubes or values to blow up) or not safe (twisting handlebars), but we ended up ordering more bikes through Seaside Cycles which brings them right to your house. Swimming and biking were the top activities. We biked to Bohicket Marina to watch sunsets too. Note don’t bike after dark, the island is dark, unless you bring your own headlamp. The house has two beach umbrellas, a sand stake digger, several beach chairs (plenty for our group), two sand carts to haul the items to the beach, some other beach items. The beach was everyone’s favorite activity. The beaches (there is a map for all the boardwalk entry points) were clean, spacious, uncrowded water was so warm for an ocean, easy waves for kids, really lovely! The Lake house pool was an easy biking distance, but the Beach house pool we drove to mainly due to having small kids, the distance, and riding on the road (bike paths are mainly on the northern end). There is an outdoor shower at the house to rinse off the sand and salt water before showering inside. We had a shower draining issue with the main level shower and maintenance was over very quickly to snake the drain. Kitchen was well stocked. All but one meal was prepared at the home! The screened porch fit everyone comfortably, great for nightly ice cream and stories.

Seabrook Island Paradise

2888 Old Drake on Seabrook Island was described perfectly. Kitchen was fully stocked with enough cook ware and utensils and plates for 9 people. 4 adults with 5 children ages from 16-10. Rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. Extra towels for each bathroom. It was nice having laundry accessibility, I pack less and it clean when I arrive home. The home was on a quite street. The home offered several different sized bikes, I took the kids on several bikes rides which was fun. They have several beach chairs on hand which was nice. My sister and I would sit in the sunroom off dining area in the AM drink coffee and read. Cooking was easy with the Wolf gas stove, 2 ovens, grill and the wine refrigerator. Lake house was an easy walk— needed some extra steps, Club beach pool and Amenities, ice cream after swimming, the adults ate at the Pelicans Nest as a night. We would return. This property was excellent.

Great location and house

We had a great time staying on Seabrook Island. House was fantastic; plenty of room for 5 adults. Excellent location and amenities. Would definitely recommend the house, Seabrook Island, and Coastal Getaways.

What a great house!

The house was great! We found it exceptionally clean and well equipped. If you plan to cook, this house is perfect as the kitchen is outstanding. We had a terrific time during our stay. One thing to be aware of: The Seabrook Island POA strictly enforces speed limits and the changes from 25 mph to 15 mph are not clearly marked. They run radar and seem to use the operation as a revenue enhancing opportunity.

Summer family vacation on Seabrook Island

This home was superbly equipped especially with regard to the kitchen. It was the best equipped kitchen of any rental property in which we have stayed. Everything was very clean and well organized upon our arrival. The three adult bikes and available children’s bikes were a special plus that we enjoyed. Advice to the owners: childproof the electrical outlets. Advice to renters going to Seabrook Island: plan on a 45-60min car lineup at the entrance gate to obtain your car pass to the island.

Fabulous stay on Seabrook Island

This home exceeded our expectations! We felt as though we were staying in a friends home rather than a rental. Spacious and comfy living areas for our large family. We spent lots of time on the screened in porch with my favorite spot being the swing. Beds were extremely comfortable. Kitchen was beautifully appointed. We have stayed in many vacation rentals and this rates as my favorite on Seabrook Island thus far. Highly recommend.

Great house

Very nice house. Clean and comfortable. House is very well maintained and nicely decorated. Plenty of room for 3 teenagers and parents. Kitchen had everything we needed. Beds are memory foam and comfy. Would stay here again. Management company was responsive and easy to work with.

A great find!!

The house really worked well for us; we are a family of eight and we require the four bedrooms. Location is minutes away from the Atlantic Ocean/beach or a pool, we used both several times. The nearby restaurants were perfect with local fares featuring seafood, barbecue, and so on. Charleston is only a half-hour drive to downtown for carriage rides, aquarium, and Fort Sumter. I would recommend this to any family with small kids. The bunk beds with the trundle worked really well for three little girls. The neighborhood is very quiet and the neighbors were friendly and helpful. Go eat dinner at the Tattooed Moose for a fun night and good southern comfort food.

Wowzah, wowzah, wowzah!

Lovely property in every way and when we had questions about how to operate something, Nancy was just a text message away. The kids were thrilled being just a bike ride away from the beach or from village center. Hubby got in some watercolor painting from the screened porch off the master bedrooms and I just gazed out over the lagoon watching the wildlife (yes, there is a gator in there) and enjoying the cool breeze. We will definitely rent this property again... possibly this summer!

Pictures can't tell the whole story

Serendipity caught us off guard as we sunk into this lovely Seabrook Island home for a three-day getaway. The four of us (two daughters ages three and five) found much to love in this immaculately kept charmer. It's fully furnished for cooking and relaxing, and close by to the beautiful beaches, fine food restaurants, and Seabrook Island Beach Club. Whether it was relaxing on the screened-in porch, riding bicycles on the quiet streets, walking along sparsely populated beaches (where there are tons of seashells), or relaxing, sans sleeping kids, for a late night movie on the HD TV, we were thoroughly happy and left in great spirits. We'll definitely return to this specially situated home. Kudo’s to the owners for sharing their find!

We were pleasantly surprised with all of the options of this residence! The pictures just do not completely capture the many potentials. We went with a group of varying ages and there were plenty of areas to meet as a group or to just be alone and read a book. The view of the Lake was spectacular and perfect for the nature lovers! The kitchen was extremely well stocked for those that appreciate gourmet cooking. The large screened porch, deck and all of the amenities on the island, provided all with so many choices. The outdoor shower was perfect for our beach excursions. Everything was in perfect shape- will definitely return!
