Holy Island, home to the famous Lindisfarne Castle, is also accessible for a day out. Seahouses itself is a seaside destination offering plenty of restaurants, pubs and an 18-hole golf course, with Seahouses Beach offering a sweeping, sandy stretch that's a favourite among walkers and anglers. Regular boat trips operate along the coastline, providing opportunities to spot grey seals.
