    Take some time to relax and reconnect with nature at this secluded home located within a mile of the Woodinville Wine District! The home sits on a historical farm, established in the 1960s, raising cattle to this day. Discover an extensive wraparound deck with a swinging chair and gas grill where you can unwind, take in the impressive nature views, and treat your family and friends to memorable barbecues. Upon entering this charming home away from home, you will encounter a welcoming living area with wall-to-wall windows flooding the space with natural light and beautiful vistas.



    The Space:

    On a clear day, you'll be treated to views of Seattle! Spread out comfortably on any of the inviting sofas and armchairs and get ready for an entertaining evening watching movies on the TV with a DVD player in the living room. Feeling hungry? Channel your inner chef and surprise everyone with an exquisite homemade meal prepared in the well-appointed kitchen, complete with all the essentials that will make cooking a breeze.



    Woodinville is nestled in the heart of Washington wine country and offers something for everyone! It is situated above the Sammamish Valley and the Ste. Michelle Winery. From this vista one has the ability to engage in the winery/concert venues of Woodinville Wine Country or sit on the sweeping deck, relaxing in the serenity of this nature preserve, viewing the Olympic Mountains, Seattle lights and the Western Horizon. Explore the numerous wineries and tasting rooms in Woodinville, known for producing world-class wines. St. Michelle Winery is just down the hill from your stay. In addition to wineries, Woodinville is home to several craft breweries and cideries. Foodies are recommended to indulge in farm-to-table dining experiences at Woodinville's restaurants, many of which emphasize locally sourced ingredients.     Things to Know

    This home is on a working cattle farm. Someone comes to the property twice a day to feed the hungry cows. They will not interfere with your stay.

    The lower half of the home is locked off from guests. There are no tenants downstairs.

Peaceful spot

Such a perfect spot to stay during a kids’ soccer tournament. Close to 60 Acres, but a world away. I know we all slept so much better in this peaceful home than we would have in a busy hotel (and loved the view from the porch - especially the cows next door)!

A bit confusing to open the front door with the code since the numbers needed to be added quickly or it flashed red. But we enjoyed our stay. We didn’t use the kitchen for more than coffee during our 2 day trip, but it was well appointed. Beds were comfortable & the house was clean. A very nice stay with no problems. We did not need assistance.

Lovely house in a country setting

We enjoyed our stay here. It's a nice cozy house in a country setting. Excellent location. We loved the view to the wineries, Seattle's skyline and Olympics. Kids fell in love with the cows. Very quite and serene. We enjoyed talking to Sylvia, the property owner, hear the story of their family and the farm. Check out the American Odyssey book in the office to learn more about the history; it's written by Sylvia's father. We would stay again!

Upsides first: The location is great. The rental is very clean. The area outside the house is beautiful and you can look at it from a big balcony. Cows roam in the pasture near the house. Downsides: the decor is really really dated, so the beauty is all outside the property. (It's not dated in a charming way, but just old.) No possibility of early or late check-in. The mattresses are really old and need to be replaced -- they're the kind of mattresses that you get into and then you sink down into a hole made by someone else's body impression.

Nice location. Very quite and serene. My companion detected an old smell. Property had dated appliances and decor - red sheets and comforter. Sink did not drain quickly. One bedroom had a hand shower that was difficult to control. Hot water ran out within two minutes when both bathrooms were being used for bathing. So we had to take turns and wait despite having two bathrooms. Host fee was almost as much as rental. That felt excessive considering all of the above.
