”You get what you paid for. The room and bathroom was clean. However parking was limited (had to park in a different lot that was difficult to find), the room got hot and the window didnt provide much ventilation, and the bed was a bit uncomfortable.”

”The property was located in a more industrial area. It is a dated property that needs some updates desperately. The room smelled musty and of smoke. The room was humid and the sheets and floor felt damp. The air conditioning didn’t work. I do not recommend this property”

”A very clean and comfortable room. Great shower with plenty of good hot water. Easy parking available. Appreciated the fact there was no carpeting on the floor. Bare walls with absolutely no art hung whatsoever was odd and added to a kind of industrial vibe. Restaurant is very good with excellent service, food and prices. Motel is located in the north end of Halifax so it's a bit off the beaten track for those whose main attractions will be downtown. However area is well-serviced by Metro...

”This hotel was extremely maintained, clean and friendly staff. Denny’s and one bar is attached to the hotel. Tim’s, A&W and a gas station is a 2 min walk from the hotel. Lots of things to do or places to dine in only a short drive away. Highly recommend this hotel!”

”Beautiful old hotel right downtown close to everything, if you don't mind walking up/down hills. The Victorian gardens across the street was a nice spot for morning coffee. Citadel just down the street and less 20 minutes to the harbour. High quality linens and soaps were provided. Fancy nexpresso machine in the room. Tv said it was streaming capable, never tried. I WAS IN HALIFAX. :)”

”Be aware of the room you are choosing. We stayed in Aft Castle room 6. The online pictures show living areas, kitchens etc but we had one very small room and small bathroom, with no additional living areas, not representative of the photos. If you have mobility issues, this is not your room, as it is three floor walk up. As well, there is very limited parking on site, with overflow parking one block away.”

”We had amazing experience of staying during our vacation. Only thing we didn’t like is serving meat beside beans as I’m vegetarian, I would appreciate having all non veg items served separately.”

”Staff always ready to help you. Breakfast quite exceptional. A staff takes your order for the warm food. They even make you an omelette if you wish. It makes it quite health safe. A great idea.”
