”The hotel middle of the forest above the mountain with peace and amazing view and a 15minute to walk to the temple ....with great foods and staff , Since we arrived until we left Sahiru answered alll our questions helped us with a smile he is amazing ... ”Wunderschöne Unterkunft, ideal für eine Gruppe von 6 Leuten. Das Staff war super lieb und die Kommunikation im Vorfeld via WhatsApp hat sehr gut funktioniert.
Besonderes Highlight ist der Blick von der großen Terrasse!
Die Unterkunft ist nicht direkt in Ella. Wir sind mit unseren TukTuks ca 40 Minuten nach Ella gefahren. Sofern man keine eigenes Fahrzeug hat, sollte man beachten, dass PickMe frühzeitig zu bestellen. ”

The location is a bit far fr city center, it’s better because of quiet. Each tuk-tuk ride between hotel to city center is LRK 500.”
”Me and my wife really enjoyed our stay at the Onrock. Our visit was made especially pleasant by the gentleman running the reception. Warm, caring and friendly service all the way. The only downside was that for this pricerange one would expect an AC. There were two fans in the room, but both were so noisy that at least we could not sleep with them on. But other than that, very good experience all in all. ”
”Lovely place to stay. Beautiful view to the mountains and the sunrise was amazing. The hotel is located on the small road so the bigger cars are not able to drive there. However the tuktuk is easy way to get in there. The place is really quiet and the railway is going nearby. There you have an easy access to Ella rock and to the town. It took around 15min to walk to Ella town. There is not many places to eat in the evening near by but in the town there are many restaurants. In the dark I got the...
”Hotellille on helppo mennä. Tervetuliaisjuomana oli hyvin poikkeuksellisesti pieni suolainen keitto joka oli todella hyvää. Hotelli sijaitsee upealla paikalla, mahtavat näkymät yli vuorien.
Huone oli siisti ja reilun kokoinen.
Aamupala oli riittävä.”
”The view was amazing at Belmont it was absolutely breath taking and the rooms and washrooms were very clean. The breakfast was good as well. The only caution to look out for it there’s bugs that come in the room at night through the door to the balcony if there’s so hidden spaces, but if u stuff a bag or something in those spaces it should be okay. ”

We had the pleasure of Thushanthan helping us with both directions, tips and service — and he spoke our language as well! Overall, a great place to stay for a weekend in Ella.
