”This was the third time my family and I vacationed here. We love that this property accommodates for larger families and you can obtain a house rather just a hotel room. The staff go out of their way to make sure that you have everything you need and considering how large this property is they do a great job of maintaining it. Food at the restaurants is excellent and well priced. Beach is clean and because of the retaining wall the water is always calm. Highly recommend.”

”This is the 4th time we stay we loved it the first few times but it seems now they are renovating some things . Some amenities like some pools and areas will be closed least in our time there . Food prices increased. Service is still pretty good . Luxury 3 villa lacked of comforters not a big deals but they only provided some throw blankets that were still too small for the beds . Over all we would come back.”

”The area looked beautiful in photos but it really was not feeling safe. We had an overnight before cruise and mainly just stayed in the room. The beach was lovely but we didn’t feel comfortable eating anywhere near this small hotel no elevator so be prepared to carry your luggage up stairs to higher floors. No where close to get a coffee in the morning.”

”Playa Catalina Hotel really surprised me in the best way. It gives you that Punta Cana vibe but in a more local, peaceful area. The beach is just a 5‑minute walk, and having a pool available 24/7 was perfect. The rooms look like little villas — super cute and cozy.
