”Beautiful old building which has had good levels of investment into making it a fine hotel. Very well located in the centre of town but with plenty of nearby parking.
Well appointed, if small, rooms, attentive and welcoming staff although needed more staff at breakfast as many guests had to wait too long to be seated. Breakfast was excellent though, lots of choice and good quality.”

Downsides were the shower curtain was tired/old/dirty and the towel rail was on/hot in the height of summer with no ability to turn it off. This felt like a waste and bad for the environment as well as heating the room up when it wasn't needed. Also the shower temperature could not be changed, so it was cold for ages then very hot, with no ability to do anything about this!”
