”Nice place to stay - very convenient for events at Sparkford Hall as its walkable in 10 minutes - comfy family room which was spacious and had the essentials with a nice clean bathroom. Would stay again in the future as it was in quite a nice location.”

”What an absolute treat The Red Lion is. I went of pervious reviews and it didn’t disappoint. In fact it exceeded my expectations, what a gem of a place. The Staff were simple amazing, David and Jasmine were fantastic and always on hand of we needed anything. The rooms are so comfortable and modern, the Breakfast was fabulous and the food in the pub was outstanding. My only problem is that I won't have the homemade biscuits that were in the room, tonight with my cuppa tea when i am at home.”

”A simple and modest country village pub with very friendly owners who took great pains to welcome and look after me. Arriving late, they had kept a good supper for me. The bedroom was large, clean and nicely old fashioned. The old church nearby chimed through the night but did not wake me. As I left before breakfast, the landlords left me a sandwich and apple. In no way smart and modern but with a very warm and relaxing atmosphere. ”
