”What an absolute treat The Red Lion is. I went of pervious reviews and it didn’t disappoint. In fact it exceeded my expectations, what a gem of a place. The Staff were simple amazing, David and Jasmine were fantastic and always on hand of we needed anything. The rooms are so comfortable and modern, the Breakfast was fabulous and the food in the pub was outstanding. My only problem is that I won't have the homemade biscuits that were in the room, tonight with my cuppa tea when i am at home.”

”This hotel is very cute and exactly what we needed. We had rooms on the top floor that were quite comfortable. I will say if you have problems with stairs. Or a lot of luggage, ask for a room in the lower floor. Lugging our bags up the three+flights of narrow stairs was a bit of a strain. ”

”Fabulous stay - loved it! Breakfast hamper was absolutely wonderful, though we couldn’t eat it all. Plenty of parking. Key code entry gives more flexibility as to arrival times, which suited us as we were spending the day and having dinner with friends so didn’t arrive till late. ”The ownerfamily was very friendly and helpful. Lady of the house even booked a table for us in the nearby pub. The room was pretty big, the doublebed was comfortable, but the "lonely" bed wasn't so much comfortable. Our breakfast was traditional english style, although pretty salty and greasy. Our roomview was amazing towards the garden.”

”Suitable location for a country tour. THe Place seems to be a center for locals to gather for a meal and a pint. All in all decent but we had a crappy room built for midgets in the attic.
