Timber & Rock Retreat rises from Sedona's red rock landscape like it grew there — a four-bedroom timber-frame home with the kind of craftsmanship you usually only find in a custom build. Soaring beams, arched windows, and warm wood throughout give every room a handmade feel, and wide sightlines pull the desert in from nearly every angle.

The heart of the home is the main floor, where the living, dining, and kitchen flow together beneath vaulted ceilings and exposed timber. The fully equipped kitchen opens onto a six-person dining table and a deep, comfortable lounge, so whoever's cooking is never cut off from the conversation. Arched picture windows frame the red rocks beyond, and the view shifts with the light — gold in the morning, rose by evening.

Four bedrooms sleep up to twelve. The primary suite pairs a king bed with a calm, light-filled corner to retreat to. A second king bedroom, a queen room with a full sofa bed, and a queen room with a twin-over-twin bunk make the layout easy to shape around a family, a couple of households, or a group of friends. Upstairs, a sun-filled loft does double duty as a game room, complete with a full-size Pac-Man arcade cabinet for late-night rematches.

Outside is where the property really stretches out. A gazebo shades an outdoor dining area built for long dinners under a wide desert sky, while the hot tub turns slow mornings and slower evenings into the main event, red rocks on full display. The firepit is made for stories and s'mores, the grill stands ready for whatever's on the menu, and the outdoor lounge gives everyone a comfortable place to land and take in the scenery.

And then there's Sedona itself. Some of Arizona's most famous trails are within reach — the climb up Cathedral Rock, the sandstone arch at Devil's Bridge, the gentler loops around Bell Rock, and the shaded creek walk through Oak Creek Canyon's West Fork. Closer to town, you'll find the galleries and courtyards of Tlaquepaque, the hilltop Chapel of the Holy Cross, and Uptown's restaurants and patios. Days here might run toward red rock summits or slow afternoons by the fire; either way, this corner of the high desert makes both feel easy.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.
