  • Sedona has some of the best hiking and views you can find in all of the Southwest USA. But my favorite parts of Sedona are the little known secret places, that you can explore and experience without the crowds. This gem is one of those secret locations. Sedona almost never gets snow, and when it does snow, it rarely sticks. So when a giant snow storm shut down the whole city last winter, we were dying to go out and get some epic snow pictures! Locals refer to this spot as the Birthing Cave. It is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the more touristy parts of the city. It is a fairly easy hike to get here, but getting up into the cave is a whole other story! It requires a lot of scrambling, and some serious guts! Lovely house with good access to Uptown shops and restaurants and a trailhead an easy walking distance. Well stocked kitchen including a full spice rack, coffee make with cream/sugar, and a fun s’mores tray. Appreciated that toiletries included lotion and hair conditioner. The 2nd bathroom is upstairs from two of the bedrooms which is a bit awkward and not apparent from the photos. Nice views from many of the rooms. Very much enjoyed our stay!

Best Girls Trip Ever!

This home was a perfect get away for four longtime friends. The location was excellent for accessing anywhere in Sedona. The views from the house and watching for wildlife was an added bonus. Perfection. Amazing view. Highly recommend

Clean. Incredible red rock views. Easy access to dining and shopping. Kitchen fully stocked. We saw several animals (mule deer, javelinas, even saw a bob cat one morning and a wolf two nights) from the deck but they didn’t get too close Beautiful stargazing. Would definitely stay here again. Host was very responsive.

Perfect stay and space for my family's visit to Sedona.

There are so many great things to say about this place. First, if perfectly fit our family. My wife and I had the master bedroom, my in-laws took another bedroom downstairs and my two teen aged daughters used the bonus room/3rd bedroom. Each of them had their own bed and had their own living area. The Owner is super helpful. The Kitchen is well equipped and there are beautiful views. We loved the outdoor gas fire pit and used it nearly nightly. The owners pays attention to details like the coffee station, great soap, shampoo, etc. While we probably didn't use the location to go into town as much as others would, it didn't matter as it was still wonderful. Check out a nearby Sedona Organic Taco Company truck just a few blocks down the hill. There was plenty of space for our family of 6. While sitting in one of the most comfortable couches you can watch the morning light come through the many windows and watch the sun chase over the mountains every evening.
