”We absolutely loved this property! We booked it for a hiking trip in the Northern Cascades. It was clean and beautifully laid out. The kitchen was organized and well stocked - a plus was the easy access coffee bar with coffee pot/coffee pods and an assortment of teas. Our host was responsive and timely in responding. ”So perfect for the night we got married!! We had a mossy fern wedding theme and there are only boring hotels in the area except this sweet quiet magic box in the woods. The bed was SO comfortable, we arrived at 11:30pm with no problem checking in. The huge window to the trees was so romantic and we didn’t see another human the entire time we were there. We cracked the window to sleep and heard owls in the night.”

The staff is always friendly and helpful, and it is nice to have a restaurant and bar downstairs that closes at 10pm so it is not noisy at night either. My only complaints though, are it doesn't look like anyone has washed and of the windows of the entire establishment in over a year, they really need cleaned. ”I like this property and have stayed here many times. It is my go to in Anacortes because rooms are large, quiet, and well heated in the winter. However it is aging and the breakfast really isn’t there. Breakfast has gone downhill steadily especially after Covid. They could do a lot immediately by upping the breakfast game.
