”We stayed here for a night on a trip down south, and we were blown away with how nice the room and property were. The owners were extremely generous and provided us with smores to cook with our kids in the fireplace in the covered porch area. Couldn't recommend this place enough ”

”This placs is absolutely amazing. Its nice and quiet and the beauty of the water and the comfort of the rooms are definitely some reasons that we will be back. There are lots of places to eat and entertainment in the surrounding area. We had a kitchenette and it had everything we needed had we decided to cook and eat in the room. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. ”

”Very nice stay. Loved the area. Sat in the cool air on the front porch in a rocking chair after a long day's drive. Frank was an excellent host. Quiet at night. ”

”Owners were very sweet. Treated us to chocolate covered strawberries in honor of our anniversary getaway there. Breakfasts were excellent!”

”The lady that checked us in was great. Took great care of our needs. Gave us a room on the first Floor. Quiet and easy to get to! Check out was ok but not as friendly.”

”Linda and Mike were outstanding hosts and welcoming to us. They were accommodating to special diet needs, and anxious to meet our requests. Food was delicious, the sitting area was cozy and our room was perfect. If it were possible we’d give 10 stars. Mike us a tour of the mill and a history of the property that made the whole experience fulfilling. ”

”Very nice ambience and vibe. Super clean. It smelled so fresh when we walked in. Everyone was so nice and friendly. Room was spacious and very clean. Breakfast was a buffet style, NOT continental which we loved! Parking was so easy and right at the door. It was perfect!”

”Not handicap friendly in any way. 2 handicap parking spots for entire property. 1at resort and one at golf area. One at resort taken up alot iof time by valet staff with cars with no placard or license plate. Lots of hills, steps. They charge extra $35 per day to use "amenities" which are down hills, steps and poorly maintained. View is beautiful but everything else needs work.”

”Although I do not Golf i decided to stay in Kingwood - mainly due to its location (ideal for my purposes) and other facilities. The area is beautiful, facilities and services are good and the staff was nice. The lack of microwave oven in the room was basically the minus I had. For a hotel gym, the equipments were good. The indoor pool was big and outdoor pool peacefully quiet.”

”The old hotel is small, clean in a good good position. It will be better if they clean and maintain further outside like stairs, corridors. Bathtub should be cleaned.”
