A modern house bathroom with a bath and overhead shower completes the setup. The open-plan living area boasts plush seating and a wood-burning stove, creating a cosy ambience. French doors flood the space with natural light and offer picturesque views of the surrounding countryside. The fully equipped kitchen, with premium appliances, and a small utility room with a washing machine ensure convenience. Outside, the private enclosed garden is perfect for morning coffees or stargazing under Yorkshire’s clear night skies.

Located just outside Cawood, the cottage is ideally positioned for exploring North Yorkshire’s treasures. The village of Cawood, rich in history, is home to the ruins of Cawood Castle, once the residence of the Archbishops of York. Visitors can enjoy scenic walks along the River Ouse, cosy pubs serving hearty meals, and a traditional tearoom.

A short drive away, York beckons with medieval streets like The Shambles, the iconic York Minster, and attractions such as the Jorvik Viking Centre. Known for its vibrant food scene and independent shops, York is a year-round destination.
