”These cottages are amazing! We loved our cottage and also the location. They were clean, spacious and very accommodating for a family of 4. It’s close enough to Selfloss and on the route of the Golden Circle. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Iceland!”

”One star for restaurant staff, which did good job during breakfast and dinner.
The hotel is outdated and pictures are a frame for a scam. The hotel reminds you of an old nature center / research facility, it is not a 4-Star Hotel and should not be marketed as one.”

”The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfy and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
The breakfast buffet in the morning was also excellent.
The hotel itself is a bit secluded which I enjoyed, and the closest town, Selfoss, is about 15-20min drive so be mindful of that if you prefer to be somewhere that’s walkable to Selfoss. Overall it’s a great location. Very scenic and easy access to the Golden Circle and South Coast, and just 1-hour outside of Reykjavik if you want to visit the city.”

”Photos can not capture the beautiful scenery at the villa. You are surrounded by nature and the view of the Northern Lights surrounds the area when they are dancing. Our teens, young adults, middle-aged, and senior family members were all able to enjoy the spacious layout. Travel to local sights is easy and worth it in order to be in the tranquil quiet by the lake. I highly recommend staying here. The owners are wonderful hosts.”

”Friendly bar staff, great sense of humor yet professional.
Good location, a small minus for there being some construction work going right next to the hotel.
Spa is very luxurious but lacks a proper sauna. Interior design and decorations were perfect, high-end materials, also professional staff.
Room was small but not too small, actually somewhat cozy for two people. Excellent views. Coffee machine in the room was great, a small minus for having to separately ask for capsule refills.
