We recently stayed at Falcon Manor for a weekend getaway and were absolutely blown away. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome – the building itself is stunning, set in beautiful grounds with sweeping views over the Dales.
Our room was immaculate, full of character with high ceilings, period details, and a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was modern and well-equipped, with lovely touches like L’Occitane toiletries and fluffy towels. We especially enjoyed the peaceful view from our window—it was the perfect place to relax after a day of walking.
The food was a real highlight. Breakfast was generous and freshly cooked (the Eggs Benedict were a standout), and dinner in the restaurant was delicious—thoughtfully presented and full of flavour. The staff were friendly, helpful, and genuinely seemed to care about our experience. Nothing felt rushed or impersonal.
The location is ideal if you're looking to explore the Yorkshire Dales. It's just a short walk from the centre of Settle and close to the Settle–Carlisle railway. We even brought our dog, and the hotel was incredibly dog-friendly—treats at reception and a warm welcome all around.
Overall, Falcon Manor felt like a special blend of country-house charm and modern comfort. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and would highly recommend it for couples, walkers, or anyone looking for a stylish countryside escape.
