”First the good: The rooms were clean and spacious, if somewhat old fashioned though. Then the bad: The first glance at Asari Classe Hotel can be very deceiving. On the surface public areas looks flashy and nice. However, a closer look shows worn down furniture, stains everywhere on the carpet and walls, paint chipping off here and there and old facilities. ”The room view was great, and the weather was great on the first day, which is essential to enjoy the view of Mt. Yotei. The room was clean but not air-conditioned. Houses in Hokkaido are designed primarily for winter, so it wasn’t cool enough during high summer. Considering the level of global warming, I suppose an air-con will be a must in Hokkaido now... unless the present trend reversed and the climate gets cooler. Otherwise the stay was great!!!”
