”Staff, Clean Room, Basic Breakfast easy Parking”

”Room was clean and breakfast was good. All good for the price thst we paid.”

”Property is messy. (Renovations?) Check in was slow. Our room was clean but had strange smell. Beds were comfortable. Sleep interrupted by noisy neighbors twice.”

”The room was fine; however, the property is 'sketchy'. I can only hope that properties like Shenstone can improve and offer medium priced accomodation in an area that badly needs it. With non-refunable reservations, I gave up my $$, to stay in a place that was cleaner.”

”Parking was easy. Room was very clean, odor free, and seemed to be newly renovated. Did not have coffee maker. The walls must be very thin as we were disturbed all night by noisy guests in the adjacent room. To their credit, they did quiet down, but continued talking all night, which we could here through the walls. No sleep for us.”

”Room was clean and very impressed with the room. Room rate was great but definitely won’t be paying the July /August rates….very overpriced for that time. Couple complaints, fridge gurgled a lot and when furnace ran it was like a rocket taking off….very loud. Was quite surprised with the appliances based on the hotel being very new!!”

”Stay was very nice other than the smoking area. Didn’t enjoy having to walk through cigarette smoke right beside the front door. Room was clean. Breakfast was good. Parking convenient.”

”This is a budget property with outstanding location. The pictures are correct regarding the views and the distance to the private beach. That being said, the rooms are small, clean and parking is close to the room. I will say that if you are ok with a small clean room ..then you will be fine. Check in and out was smooth and if you pay by debit, there is no upcharge. Internet is good. The views are very good.”

”The hotel was under construction with no notice to us before booking. We were not able to use the z, hot tub, no blow dryer, and bagged breakfast. My son was there for hockey try outs and were intentionally booking somewhere for the hot tub and a good breakfast. ”

”The room was very nice - large and well appointed. The bed was really comfortable. We had a lovely continental breakfast in the morning and were able to sit in the dining room overlooking the bay. Staff was excellent. My only concern was with poor lighting in the parking lot and I did pass that along in the morning. We came in later in the evening and it was very difficult to see where we were walking. Probably not an issue in the busy season when the restaurant is open and people are out...

”We recently stayed at Bruce Peninsula Motel and were shocked at the level of cleanliness. The washroom was completely uncleaned — there was even a used tissue with a squashed mosquito stuck to the door, which was never removed. The overall hygiene standards were unacceptable, and it made the stay very uncomfortable. Definitely not worth the money, and I would not recommend this place to anyone.”
