Amazing peaceful cabin
The perfect cabin for a weekend trip. The host did a wonderful job especially with how clean it was, had everything you would need and the pond was so cute. Would definitely be back.

Comfortable and Adorable

Cozy Cabin
The cabin looked amazing online when we booked the property, but took our breath away when we arrived. I could not have imagined how perfect it would truly be. Everything was immaculate. I would have thought I was walking into a brand new, just built cabin had I not known it was 5 years old from the owner’s welcome letter. We truly loved this property and are looking at our calendars to book again next year.

Beautiful Property
My wife and I hand a wonderful weekend stay at this property. The cottage was incredibly clean and organized; everything that we needed was available and at our fingertips. The owner/property manager was so kind and takes great pride in the cottage and entire property - and it shows! We had a very relaxing, private weekend that we really enjoyed. We will be back!

Outstanding!!
We stayed at the Irish Valley Cottage for a long weekend in July. Tehani was wonderful. She gave us the lay of the land. Nothing was off limits. We walked the grounds around the property, fed the fish, watched the birds, deer and chipmunks and even heard a pack of coyotes in the evening. The grounds were impeccable. Everywhere you look was beautiful. We had planned on doing things in the local area but instead we never left the cottage. It was so relaxing and the stars at night were amazing. We even caught a few shooting stars. The cottage had everything you could possibly need and was spotless. We cannot wait to go back!!!

Need Peace and Quiet, This Is The Place
So Quiet, The Birds Serenade You At Dawn. I so enjoyed the rest and the green mountain this cottage is located upon. I was doing genealogy research at nearby libraries and historical society but the best was coming back to this cottage to restful sleep. It’s close to Knoebels Amusement Park, my favorite place as a child. Check it out, you will enjoy your stay.

Overall excellent - if you plan to cook, bring frying pan (ones there are scratched up)…also, bring grill utensils such as tongs. Lovely cottage on private lands…exceptionally clean, well kept and quiet. Would come here again.

We were able to totally relax listening to the sounds of the birds and mother nature. Walks to the pond to feed the fish is a great bonus. The cabin was extremely clean and contained everything we needed..

Hidden Gem
Irish Valley Cottage was the perfect weekend relaxation getaway! Both the cottage and the grounds were stunning!! The cottage was cozy and very clean. The owners, Tehani and Dan, were wonderful to work with - it's evident they take great pride in hosting guests at their cottage. We were very pleased to have found this property and will definitely consider it for future getaways!

This was the perfect location for my getaway. A quaint little cabin on a beautiful property, and located near many venues for entertainment (for me it was hiking in Weiser State Forest; also visited Centralia on my way home). Exactly as advertised, great people to work with, well worth the reservation.

You will not be disappointed with this beautiful Irish Cottage privately nestled on beautifully landscaped grounds. You will fall in love with the pond and soothing fountain. If you feel like taking a nap in the sun do so on the lovely swaying hammocks. You will want for nothing!!!! This cottage is cozy, peaceful, and immaculately clean!!!!! My husband and I wanted to go to Knoebels. It's my happy place. I grew up in the coal regions and my parents took us every year. We were looking for a place to stay and struck gold with this cottage. It was clean and decorated so nicely. It felt like home. The owners have it fully stocked to the point where we brought things we did not need!! The pond is beautiful and we got to feed the fish and enjoy the beautiful view from the swing. We had camp fires both evenings we were there and enjoyed the peace. It is only about 10-15 minutes from the park. We enjoyed shopping for groceries in Shamokin and even had food and drinks at the Ale House which was amazing. I highly recommend this for couples or parents with young children as there is a very cute playground area. We are hoping to return in the fall!!!

Absolutely Loved this adorable cabin for our honeymoon. Quiet and peaceful.
I can’t wait to come back for our anniversary. It was perfect for our quiet honeymoon. Everything was so organized and clean. We had everything we needed to cook etc! Property managers were available at all times. Would recommend for a couple & up to 2 kids, 4 group girl retreat or some mommy daughter time.

no detail overlooked
From the flashlight hanging by the door, to the kindling already placed in the fire pit out back, these owners thought of every small detail that would make a renter feel comfortable. The place was absolutely spotless, and even smelled good inside. Thank you so much, we can't wait to come back!

My wife and I are parents to a freshman at Bucknell University which is approximately 25 miles from this property. Most of the hotels booked early and at inflated prices for parents' weekend at the school. We decided to try this cabin which was considerably farther away but sounded great. It was perfect. Very cozy with all of the amenities you would ever need. Very well done and very well thought out. The surrounding area is just beautiful. We will be back again for parents' weekend next year. It was worth the drive.

Beautiful, Quite & Cozy
If you are looking to get away from all the hustle and bustle this is place . This property is in a beautiful setting. Very peaceful and quiet. The cottage was very clean and exactly as described. The kitchen has everything you could need and then some. My only suggestion would be to trade the futon in for a cozy little love seat that would make it is easier to access the closet. The owners really take pride in their property and it shows. We look forward to visiting again.

Relaxing and great!
Me and my boyfriend stayed here for a tiny bit and we loved it so much! It’s a cute little cabin that gives you great views. We actually liked the windy backroads the most and seeing wild animals. It’s a really short drive to almost anything! There’s a great food market that has reallyyyy good bacon. Definitely would come here again if we ever decide on another trip to Knoebels!
